D&D (2024) WotC Unveils Dragon Delves' Eclectic Art Styles

In a short 1-minute video, Wizards of the Coast has 'revealed' Dragon Delves, the upcoming anthology of dragon-themed adventures. The video showcases the book's eclectic art styles.

Dragon Delves contains 10 adventurers from levels 1-12, each featuring a different type of dragon. The book is due out July 8th.

I’m generally with Pointy Hat on YouTube when it comes to dragon (D&D dragons are boring) but I love this art.

I love the variety of art styles. It reminds me of the TSR days when there was no single art style.

I rarely pick up the adventures, so I'll have to have more info on the adventure content. But the art is making it tempting.

Ah, so it is. I was seeing was a high-priestess with a spear or something.
And I even had my glasses on.

Others may have chimed in, but I thought the same thing on first glance. Had to open it up and then zoom in.

And you know what? In my head-canon, there's a high-priestess of Bahamut standing there just freaking taking that blast...

Based on that super short synopsis, the copper dragon adventure seems like it could go well with the Godsbreath realm from the Radiant Citadel book. (That one features a land with dying farmlands as well.)

I love the idea of this book. D&D really needs more short adventures -- call me a grognard, but I think the prevalence of massive hardbacks and adventure paths has probably not been good for the game. Ten adventures in one hardcover means each individual adventure will be roughly the size of a module of old, which warms my cranky old heart. And dragons! And that cool art! This is the best I've felt about anything WotC has done in a good while.
