Spoilers Daredevil: Born Again (Spoilers)

Yeah getting him in to sick bay to buy him time does seem more plausible, the attack just seemed too calculated to be just "lashing out" and out of character as Matt may rage and go too far at times but he isnt usually vindictive enough to do three precise hits then call the guard with a contrived story
It seems like Matt wanted to keep Dex alive long enough to find out why he had targeted Foggy, but he has now figured out that it was Vanessa, so I guess Dex can go back to jail?

Also, I am super keen to find out how Matt taking a bullet for Fisk affects their relationship. I don't think it will change Fisk's anti-vigilante approach, but it ought to buy Matt some credit.

Season 3 as I recall.
Season 2 actually! I just got up to that part. There's a guy in the prison (Dutton) who calls himself the Kingpin. He tries to intimidate Fisk when he first arrives. Fisk later uses Frank to take out Dutton and his gang and declares himself the new Kingpin of the prison.

Why isn’t daredevil getting a crossover movie
Maybe he will? That bank robbery episode seemed to be hinting at a team-up between Daredevil and Ms Marvel, and Ms Marvel has made contact with Kate Bishop, so maybe we'll get either a crossover series or a crossover movie where Daredevil works with (mentors?) the new up-and-coming NYC-area heroes. Maybe even Spider-Man! (Or does he have to stay separate because of Sony contracts?) Are there any others besides those three younglings in the area?

It likely won't change their relationship. Fisk seems to consider Matt to be an honourable opponent. He's also transactional. Reciprocal. A life for a life.

Yes, so Fisk now owes him one. I can see Fisk defeating Matt at some point only to spare his life as a way of paying him back.

On a different note: do I have to watch the Defenders between seasons 2 and 3 of Daredevil or can I skip it? I’ve read a bit about it and I’m not that interested in the whole Elektra / Hand side story.

I don't think The Defenders is necessary. It's pretty strange and felt kind of half-baked, if I'm being honest.

Defenders is rubbish, skip it

I would agree that it isn't necessary and the opportunity to avoid any reference to "Iron Fist" is likely worth skipping it.
I didn't hate it, but I agree it isn't necessary at all for the Daredevil story. The season after it in Daredevil made whatever reference to those events the narrative needed.

I had such high hopes for Iron Fist, since I'm a fan of Heroes for Hire. But without the friendship with Luke Cage (which only somewhat manifests later one), the story flounders about, feeling like the worst parts of Arrow.

Jessica Jones is a bit uneven as well, but any time Killgrave shows up is amazing.

Daredevil, Punisher, and Luke Cage are the real Netflix shows to watch.

EDIT: I'd love to see Luke or Claire Temple appear in D:BA at some point!

I had Iron Fist comics back in the '70s. The entire arc for the character, right through the Heroes for Hire series, left me cold.
