AI is going to hack us.

I do not think it is just AI telling people things, but some believe it to be THE answer and not just a tool to help look at all the sides. It will get worse once kids lean on it and grow with it- same as cell phones and social media. We are not teaching people how to think and it is easier to just ask someone to skip to the end with a TLDR.

I remember hearing a story that a woman chatted with ChatGPT so long that she felt a genuine relationship with it. Then the limit hit, and she had to start all over again. She kept repeating this same pattern.

Yikes.

There was a kid who fell in love with a chat bot and killed himself recently I believe.

All this naughty word is a mistake. People claimed otherwise with social media, and we know that to be wrong now.

It's just going to get worse.

My boss is gung-ho for using ChatGPT to assist with comms. Yes, it makes my job easier BUT it does the thinking for me, so I wouldn't be able to tell you much about the content it's producing for me because I haven't really had to think about it myself (and therefore commit it to memory). It's definitely a double-edged sword.

Apparently long term usage of AI causes people to lose cognitive function. (I'm so scared of it, I don't even want to use spellchecking n_n) It is a silver lining ar least that in the future people cheating through AI will not be smart enough to hide their cheating.
