D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

If you want fuzzy, unclear, blotchy, disjointed, cartoony, etc. then enjoy it--there's plenty of it in the new books.
Interesting, I don't feel those adjectives describe the images you posted, nor the 2024 art in general, very well at all. But I it is clear we are just talking about a matter of opinion and taste. No need to keep discussing.

Our heroes succeeding at a Seduction check to get information from a diner waitress in a 1970 investigative game. Clichés abound.

(prompt: A cozy 1970s American diner interior, bathed in warm, amber lighting. Vinyl booths in faded red line the walls, a jukebox glows in the corner, and chrome accents catch the light. At the center, a brunette waitress in a pastel blue uniform and white apron leans slightly forward, pen poised on her order pad, mid-conversation. She wears a gentle smile, professional but familiar. In front of her, seen from behind, two customers sit at the counter—one in a leather jacket, the other in a plaid shirt, both relaxed, engaged.)

The outside of the diner:

The waitress knew, and spoke, too much...

(prompt: A small brick diner stands alone by the roadside, its red-brown walls damp from recent rain, glowing faintly under flickering neon signage that reads “OPEN 24 HOURS.” The building is modest, with large square windows offering a hazy glimpse of the warmly lit interior. A 1970s black-and-white police car is parked just outside, angled casually, its windshield speckled with rain. Reflections shimmer in puddles across the cracked asphalt. The night air feels heavy, quiet, with only the hum of a distant highway and the faint buzz of the neon—suggesting a pause in time, as if something unspoken hangs in the air.)

Beholder Boss Battle

Generated for free on the CharGen Fantasy Generator Website.

Prompt:
party of adventurers locked in combat with a floating beholder with one central eye in a cavernous Underdark ruin, eye rays blasting across the stone chamber, ten eyestalks firing crackling eldritch rays, wizard casting counterspells, fighter’s shield glowing with enchantment, stalactites and ancient pillars around them, darkness pierced by magic light. hyperrealistic realism photorealistic volumetric fog, rim-and-fill contrast, 35 mm lens f/1.4 ISO 100, 8-K HDR, wet-specular chitin plates, visible sclera veins, high-dynamic range cold-steel palette with lava accents, ultra-sharp detail, cinematic realism, ray tracing, unreal engine, hyper realistic, photorealistic, focus-stacked, ISO 64 1/125 s, 8-K HDR, Octane subsurface scattering, wet-specular highlights, cinematic cyan-amber grade, claustrophobic intensity, ultra-real

Got to be honest I dont think it used too much of the ending, maybe was getting too long and wordy and therefore started to lose context.

Unless there's more characters outside of the picture, that is definitely the Beholder that couldn't shoot straight. :)

Nothing in the prompt express that the eye rays blasts the heroes, only that they shoot "across the stone chamber". Unless specifically prompted to, models tend to avoid really violent scenes.

You can get heroes more battered by a dragon, though:

The model probably wasn't trained on enough images of real charred humans to do something more realistic -- which might not fit will in a fantasy MM anyway.
And beholders aiming true:
