3 episodes...a lot to unpack

obligatory mephisto is behind The Hood mention. Love that Joe(Ezekiel) used a duster buster to pick up dad. I'm also guessing the reason behind his holding on to stuff is "If i have it, it can't be used" rationale. Thanks dad issues.

The hood and boots don't come from Mephisto, but I suspect it'll be used to bring him in.

Straight talk: is it worth watching? The D+ series have been very much a mixed bag, and the initial reviews for this are not good. After making them watch all of Secret Invasion, I have to be more careful about what I inflict on my spouse.

Here's my metric: I thought Daredevil was great. I thought SI and Falcon/WS were terrible, and everything else fits somewhere in between.

I thought it was enjoyable, nowhere near as good as Dardevil but infinitely better than Secret Invasion. Its got a young black urban theme which I'm probably not the audience for, but the storytelling doesnt drag on like some ghetto dramas do.

So far I'd rank it as maybe on the level of Luke Cage or even Hawkeye (though I enjoyed Hawkeye more), better than F&WS and Echo, I'm hoping it doesnt go the way of Ms Marvel

I watched the first two episodes - from what I've seen the reviews are not bad mostly, in fact they seemed good, and to almost unanimously say the final episode was great, which is better than most marvel shows that can't stick the landing.

This is good so far, and has a lived in feel. Though I didn't really like Riri that much in BP2, I liked her depiction here. Also liked the shades of gray.

Then again, I mostly enjoyed FaTWS- the heel turn by Carlie was abrupt, and his final speech was heavy handed, but I enjoyed it and the themes.

Watched it despite feeling dread after 5 years of frankly Disney+ guff

I really liked! The main character is very likeable which always helps me. Most of the squad are also interesting to watch.

Questions:
1. Did they just abandon the heist in ep1.
2. I assume Rampage has been killed or will return as a villain in ep6.
3. What was RiRi researching that was a struggle ( despite making an iron suit quite successfully!).
