I series link old series when they start rotating on Virgin (cable)
Currently watching Secret Army (BBC), which is unexpectedly more brutal than I remember but then I was going to bed at tthe time it was first broadcast.
Also rewatching Stargate Atlantis - watched first time time around but hadn't revisited since, and it seems to have held up quite well.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was disappointing when I finally watched the entire run. I was at college when it first aired and didn't own a portable TV so it passed me by. IMO it was neither Star-Trek-enough, or its own-thing-enough for me but now I know and can move on.
Also currently dropping in and out of Doomwatch (there maybe be missing episodes). Usual crap BBC production values of the 1970s but the storylines seem extremely modern despite being 50 years old.

We've been watching a lot of older shows I'd missed because of lack of cable, and I'm finding a lot of earlier SF Network ones (specifically Eureka, Warehouse 13, and The Magicians) much more watchable than I'd have expected.

Joe Flanigan has tried to buy the rights to "Stargate: Atlantis", more than once, in order to restart/reboot it.
I've been thinking about watching "The Magicians", but it feels like it has too much of that CW melodrama mixed in for me. I'd definitely do another run through of "Warehouse 13" and "Eureka." Those are 2 shows where I really didn't mind a crossover event.

There's certainly a lot of interpersonal drama in "The Magicians", so it turns on how much you become attached to the core characters. I've seen more than one person who started out hating them and ended up loving them, but that's intrinsically a case of "how it works out for the individual".

Buffy and it's spin-off Angel are still comfort shows for me. Despite Whedon's fall from grace, I still consider both shows excellent.
Babylon 5, forever.
One that I found on Tubi and I remember from my childhood was this BBC show Robin of Sherwood. It's got a lot of elements that will be seen in Prince of Thieves, and a dated but still fun soundtrack. I started watching it, and it's why I started a Robin Hood esque adventure/campaign. Robin Hood adaptations come and go, but this is a fav of mine.

I preferred Michael Praed's depiction of Robin over Jason Connery's. It felt like the show lost something when they switched Praed out.

I'll let you know when I get there. I like Praed a lot, and changing the lead is always tricky, but my childhood memories were more favorable to Connery.
