I know, too obvious. TBH, I don't know why Paizo decided to change its' looks between editions. Just that they did.Oh, entirely did not notice that under the robes.
They were found in 2e's Monstrous Compendium Annual 1. They were distinctively color coded by type, but that is generally only indirectly referenced in the type names. There were eight types and two greater individual non typed ones.The linnorms otoh aren't color-coded, at least the ones in PF1's many bestiaries aren't color-coded. I haven't seen the ones in D&D yet.
