I’ve loved many a Kobold Press art piece. Happy this is coming out and I will get it later next year.

I’d really like to see the ToV books crediting each art piece individually, actually. Maybe this has already begun (but I do not think it was the case in the GMG).

Some artists sign their art, others don't, simple as that!

This is why we always list all the artists in the credits (same of course for authors, since crediting individual bits of writing throughout a book would be extremely awkward and unwieldy, not to mention impossible to keep 100% accurate)

Of course, we're getting a bit off topic ... the fact is that The Art of Kobold Press features TONs of amazing art, along with behind the scenes info, stories from KP staff etc.

It's really a great book and I am super happy with how it came out. Can't wait for it to start getting into everyone's hands!! :)

Why just artists? Why not credit each bit of writing individually too? Many RPG rulebooks have dozens of writers.
By all means, if the book was split into sections and these sections were each written by different writers, credit them separately so we can know who wrote what.

The good news is that KP already does that in many of its products (guides, anthologies, etc.). When they don’t credit sections individually, I assume that is because the book was not so neatly split, the writers all took passes at the text, or it was simply not feasible.

It is however always feasible to credit each artist per piece (and it doesn’t even increase page count). Other publishers do it by just writing the name in the inner part of the page.
