I love The Black Hole and think it’d be good for a remake, especially if they lean into the horror aspect a bit more. That movie shook me up when I saw it as a kid!

I remember having the choice of Star Trek and Black Hole in the theater when they came out and we saw Black Hole. Hadn't seen it again until we rewatched it last year. I had absolutely no memory at all of the hellscape part!

I saw bith 2001 and The Black Hole as a child on Capacitance Electronic Disc releases that my dad had collected. No way I could forget the hellscape as long as I live, lol.

Naw, CED was a great format (films on magneticly charged Vinyl? The quality was great), I mean the literal, honest to God Hell that comes at the end of The Black Hole.
