Really? The DriveThruRPG sales page of For Gold & Glory (affiliate link) says that it came out on September 11th, 2015.It predates 2012 iirc.
As somebody that has been in several 1E AD&D games in the last decade, the ones that are nostalgic for it seem to specifically want to play the actual game rather than a retroclone, either to experience it, try and play it RAW, or just to reuse all that Hermetic knowledge of it that we still have stored in our heads.1E. I dont think anyone's that nostalgic. Fans of that era seemed to have migrated to B/X clones.
