James Gunn on 'Man of Tomorrow' villain

Aeson

Up, up, and away.
James Gunn reminds everyone he's "never said" that Brainiac is in the Superman sequel, but promises a new villain will appear in Man of Tomorrow James Gunn reminds everyone he's "never said" that Brainiac is in the Superman sequel, but promises a new villain will appear in Man of Tomorrow

Nicholas Hoult is returning as Lex Luthor.
This is a denial that could easily be a smokescreen, Brainiac could still be the villain. It could even be Dave Bautista. He would not be my first choice. If you were casting the movie who would be your choice?

You want Brainiac to look strange and otherworldly, but still humanoid. There's only one go-to for that; Doug Jones.

Eh, and Chris Evans definitely isn’t in Avengers Doomsday. Don’t believe anything anybody says until you see it on screen.

Doug Jones would likely kill it as Brainiac. But the only choice? Far from!

Did you see Blake Ritson's Brainiac from the Krypton TV show back in 2018? A very creepy and otherworldly performance! Not that Gunn would likely bring him back for a movie, but he gets my vote!
