Star Wars prequel questions

That's the thing - is there an artistic vision or is it just a set piece/stage for the action scenes. The latter is, in my opinion, one of the things that really is hindering big genre movies, whether it's Star Wars or Marvel or whatever. The scenery doesn't tell a story, it showcases the action.

As an aside, Red Sonja is a product of the 70s, created by Roy Thomas. Red Sonya of Rogatino is described by REH as follows (not that he didn't have plenty of scantily clad characters in his stories otherwise!):

She was tall, splendidly shaped, but lithe. From under a steel cap escaped rebellious tresses that rippled red gold in the sun over her compact shoulders. High boots of Cordovan leather came to her mid-thighs, which were cased in baggy breeches. She wore a shirt of fine Turkish mesh-mail tucked into her breeches. Her supple waist was confined by a flowing sash of green silk, into which were thrust a brace of pistols and a dagger, and from which depended a long Hungarian saber. Over all was carelessly thrown a scarlet cloak.
I can't read that sort of stuff without this going off in my brain (even though OG Red Sonya isn't too bad either):
"Now, there is a tendency at a point like this to look over one’s shoulder at the cover artist and start going on at length about leather, tightboots and naked blades.
Words like ‘full’, ‘round’ and even ‘pert’ creep into the narrative, until the writer has to go and have a cold shower and a lie down.
Which is all rather silly, because any woman setting out to make a living by the sword isn’t about to go around looking like something off the cover of the more advanced kind of lingerie catalogue for the specialized buyer.
Oh well, all right. The point that must be made is that although Herrena the Henna-Haired Harridan would look quite stunning after a good bath, a heavy-duty manicure, and the pick of the leather racks in Woo Hun Ling’s Oriental Exotica and Martial Aids on Heroes Street, she was currently quite sensibly dressed in light chain mail, soft boots, and a short sword.
All right, maybe the boots were leather. But not black."—Terry Pratchett, The Light Fantastic.

He's not just supposed to be in hiding. He's supposed to be keeping an eye on Luke, for recruitment when the time comes. Hard to do that from the other side of the planet.
Right, but then why hide him with relatives? Isn't that the first place Vader would look? To the extent the "hide Luke on Tatooine" plot breaks down, it does so with Empire.

I suppose to be fair to them, they thought Anakin was dead. Kenobi didn’t find out he was still alive until years later.

Not a great defence, admittedly, but it’s only 90% stupid not 100%.

They did? Can you remind me of where?
End of RotS. I finished watching it again about an hour ago. Kenobi leaves Anakin for dead. They hide the twins from Palpatine, not Vader.

I might watch Kenobi next. See if he’s surprised about Vader. I did watch it when it came out but I don’t remember it well.

Ah, I was thinking in just the OT, to fix the challenges posed by Empire. I recall reading they developed the idea in Kenobi but I never watched it.
