Your Top 5 Superhero Outfits

I actually really like Black Widow’s original 60s fishnets and pointy eyemask outfit - I think it’s her best and really screams “60s Soviet femme fatale super spy out for revenge”. None of her hero outfits have been as stylish.

Will Payton’s 1988 Starman outfit is just so efficient and streamlined; the only thing is that I refuse to believe that some guy could have sewed it in his basement without some serious skills.

Gear and costumes are almost all the product of handwavium.

I mean, think of Batman’s Batcave, the Batmobile and everything else he uses. Either he’s having this stuff designed, manufactured, assembled, delivered and maintained by experts, or he has an actual superpower that nobody recognizes.🤷🏾‍♂️

(Not to mention how the Batmobile never gets ticketed or towed by Gotham, and none of his aircraft have attracted FAA or AF attention.)

Yeah, of course - it’s really just a rehash of the Spidey problem, how did a kid sew himself that incredible outfit in his bedroom? It’s notable for both because they’re both relatively down to Earth - Starman spent a certain amount of time talking about Will’s issues hiding his secret identity (like being seen flying out of his trailer in the middle of New Mexico IIRC - you’ll note that he doesn’t wear a mask, but that’s because his powers include being able to change his appearance at will).

Some hero outfits are really iconic, even people who casually know about the franchise would recognise them. Classic Superman, Spider-man, and Batman are definitely in there. I also like Classic Jean Grey Phoenix outfit someone posted, Carol Danver's Warbird costume, and Wasp's yellow and black outfit. I also like Wolverine's yellow and blue outfit and think it worked really well in the Deadpool & Wolverine movie.

That's more than 5, assume some are honourable mentions.
