Thank you.

Had another awesome session today with a group of mostly 7th graders, plus one little brother. Good thing the Priest kept rolling well because PCs kept dropping to zero HP.

The boys invited a girl from their class who had never played RPGs before and she was a natural. Totally grasped the OSR aesthetic from the first moment. Never once asked, "Can I..." or "How do I..." or "What should I do?" She just jumped right in suggesting ideas and plans. Got a text from her parents that she LOVED it and couldn't wait to play again.

I'm playing in a very Swords and Sorcery SD game right now. I have a dwarf pitfighter named Naugrim, who started game with very little gold. He had an empty backpack, a shortsword and shield. Maybe a few rations?

In typical S&S fashion, we aren't heroes, but yet always succumb to a sob story, always getting in trouble carousing, and having weird experiences. Because of creepy encounter with mummified cat, Naugrim has taken up worship of forgotten cat goddess. I'm sure that'll be totally harmless.

Just having so much fun.

We've been using them. They're great but my dwarf has other thoughts...

2. I’m not in the habit of blocking people.
3. Since I usually play D&D, I can unwatch this thread and let folks discuss Shadowdark in peace.
