The part that'll hit you next is that 20, 25, and 30 will come and you'll feel like no time has passed.
As mentioned, I’m an Army brat; we moved a lot. But my parents had lives before me, of course…

So it came as a complete shock even to them that the house we lived in after Dad retired from the service was home from 1982-1998- almost as long as either of them had lived in before.

…and we’ve been living in THIS house since 1998.

This one makes me feel old. I was reading an "18 bands that got their name from album/song names..." article yesterday. I always thought and hoped there was a deeper meaning but alas there isn't.

"At The Drive In", founded in 1994, was named after Poison's "Talk Dirty to Me"....I was so disappointed. There really was some vapid music in the 80s

At the drive in
In the old man's Ford
Behind the bushes
'Til I'm screamin' for more

And then there were the bands named after comics/cartoons.

TinTin
The Thompson Twins
RacerX
Mott the Hoople
Duran Duran

Im unfamiliar with all of those bands, comics; they could be the names of laundry detergent and I wouldnt know the difference.

EDIT: Let me rephrase, I've heard of them but don't know who or what they are named from.

RacerX from Speed Racer but I don't know the band, TinTin I know of the classic comic but not the band. The Thompson Twins and Mott the Hoople I know the bands but not the references.

Duran Duran I was a fan of as a kid and still remember that they stole their name from the Barbarella villain- Durand Durand.
