The part that'll hit you next is that 20, 25, and 30 will come and you'll feel like no time has passed.

As mentioned, I’m an Army brat; we moved a lot. But my parents had lives before me, of course…

So it came as a complete shock even to them that the house we lived in after Dad retired from the service was home from 1982-1998- almost as long as either of them had lived in before.

…and we’ve been living in THIS house since 1998.

That reminds me that I visited a friend in North Carolina, when driving home from Alabama, and he pulled an "Aventures in Babysitting" on me
