Sneak, an energy drink company, has announced plans to release an official Dungeons & Dragons energy drink this October. Sneak is collaborating with Hasbro on several RTD (ready-to-drink) energy drinks this year, starting with two Transformers-themed cans released in May. Sneak also announced it would be releasing additional Dungeons & Dragons-themed cans of energy drink in October, although no reveals were made about the cans or the flavor of energy drink.

Sneak previously released two fantasy-themed flavor of energy drink last year - Elderblight Elixir and Mistblossom Essence - that were released in powder form and featured the brand's rabbit mascot dressed in various fantasy tropes.

Dungeons & Dragons has teamed up with other beverage companies in the past, most notably New Holland Brewing Company to release an official series of Dungeons & Dragons-themed alcoholic beverage.

I'd say the cool thing about fantasy role playing is you rarely need a license at all. I forget the company that made "potions" and "mana potions" in plastic spherical bottles that tasted like cough syrup mixed with poison and then there's like the Mythical Meats company and the company that did all the fantasy class-themed colognes. All very cute and I can choose not to buy them but appreciate the sentiment.

Except the Mythical Meats. I want to know what Leprechaun tastes like.

EDIT: I guess Mythical Meats eventually did do some D&D licensed snacks. But the point is they don't HAVE to.

The thing that comes to my mind right away is the old 6-packs of Jones Soda from around 2010. I believe the flavors were Bigby's Crushing Thirst Destroyer, Illithid Brain Juice, etc.
And if you ordered directly from Jones, you got a Drow Assassin mini with an exclusive paint job. I still keep that one in my "go to" minis bin, versus "in storage."

I don't know the last time I had Jones Soda. I don't know the last time I noticed Jones Soda on the shelf.
