[sblock=To Patlin]There are varying degrees of evil throughout the room; most of the men in the room have minimal taint that more than likely is environmental in nature. The kobold radiates a low-grade evil, indicating perhaps a selfishness and willingness to put oneself ahead of any other being.[/sblock]

"Mind? Hells below, you do whatever you feel like, miss...although a pretty girl like you may want t' watch where she goes down here in Ship's Towers. Fer coin, I know a guy who'll help you find anyone down here."

There is no recognition of the amulet from the kobold.

Since Weapon merely stands there mutely, there are a few more glares and muttered curses, but violence does not see to be forthcoming. For now.

Having obtained the expected results, Rionus nods to himself.

"Thank you for the warning, Sir. This particular pretty girl is in no danger from any but the most foolhardy, even in Ship's Towers, as I'm sure you can see."

Rio prefers to smooth over any incidental ill will the group may be generating.

Knowing well his figure isn't welcome in many places, Tam keeps watch as casually as ke can outside the building, paying attention at anything out of the ordinary, as he was trained to do.

*Alysina's diplomatic efforts synergise admirably with the effect of the imposing knight of Aundair.*

[SBLOCK=OOC]26, as I didn't quite roll as high as that natural 20 of yours, Patlin[/SBLOCK]

"What can I do for you, miss? My name is Krontigard, and I keep the ledgers for the Shoreman's Guild." Diplomacy is not wasted on the diminutive kobold, and he sits attentively. "I don't know that I'm good at finding people, but who are you looking for?"

Rio considers speaking up, but decides Alysina should have the first crack at it.

Maybe she can think of something better than "We're trying to return this lost knecklace...."

"Thank you, Krontigard, my friend. I'm from Derbyshire, a small mining village in the nearby mountains. One of my good friends was constantly teased about his rather unfortunate name by many of the other villagers, and so he ran away, swearing to make something of himself in Sharn more than just a miner, and to change his name and his face so nobody would make fun of him any more. So I'm not sure what he's going by now, but I heard that he's a longshoreman now. You should be able to identify him because he wears a necklace just like mine that is unique to our village. Have you seen him, my friend?"
