That sounds fine. I'm not averse to having an odd stat ever. I like some of the half feats and plan to take a couple of them. But i don't ever really want anything more than 14 in dex for this build, so that starting 15 would have been a wasted point for my entire career.

Respectfully, my take away from the story is that you had a DM that let you play your character the way you wanted to even though it was inconvenient for the material he was running. That's a cool DM. (I also wonder how it was that there were only two choices. There's clearly more to the story...
