    Cherry Blossom Ice Cream

I have a friend who loves this stuff. I was wondering if anybody knows where you can buy it in the states. I have checked Google, yahoo and everything. Amazon brings up some sort of play set. Thanks for any help.

I think we need a new DM

I can understand this one. Run a high level game with the the "weird" stuff and you will cry yourself to sleep at night and dread the game.

Does social standing have a place in your game?

In my Warhammer game it sure does. Durning Character creation you can roll up a noble, lots of wealth and nice equipment. Plus you get treated better then the common riff raff. And during one game a player actually became a noble. Lord Ludo (The Limp, cause of a limp he had after...

Star Wars. what era are you playing in? Or who isn't playing in Legacy?

No legacy here (just heard of it now.) Mine is set about 10 years before Episode IV. The Death Star has just started construction, the party may be going to Alderaan. These loose bands of "rebels" are causing havok and they don't want none of that. They just want to get a new swoop and...

    Are DMs subsidizing player fun?

Lets see.... My players have bought books and have let me use them on a semi permanent basis when we play the system. And as for writing adventures, my job subsidides them. I write up tons of stuff between phone calls at work :)

    Combating Burn-out

For me it stretching a game to long. I try to drag out plots and add new ones but it become a chore. Then there is also the way D20 breaks down at higher levels. Lots of options, lots of rules and generally long combats. NPC's take to long to make and it stops feeling dangerous. I finally...

[Star Frontiers] Shotguns on the Frontier

A tear was brought to my eye seeing a Star Frontier thread. And yeah a needler rifle would work I would think. OR if you have Zebulons guid page 64 Rafflur M4: Microwave "Shotgun" basically. Fires a cone shaped microwave beam. If you read the description is basically is a shotgun. And...

If players had a screen, what would be on it?

Back in the day WOTC or TSR did release a set of player screens. They were for AD&D and each class had there own. If I recall correctly I think they even came in like a big plastic briefcase thing to carry some books with you.

[Rant] Do editing/proofreading errors drive you mad, too?

I found the rogue/rouge error in Warhammer novel. It doesn't bother me cause I don't write very good :p But if I do catch them I know other people have.

Has anyone played the Wheel of Time

Our game was pretty fun. We had one male channler and an Aes Sedi NPC we were escorting around. We actually adventured around the Great Hunt for the horn. We were looking for something else and used that as a rouse so nobody would be suspicious as to what we were really after. It lasted like...

How often do you level in 3.*e?

When we played D&D, level 1 to about 4 was about every game session. After that its was about every 2 weeks or so. We did play every week for about 8 hours. I like it when the party levels and the players like to grow as well.

SWRPG thoughts for a newish DM

Last game I ran had one Jedi, 1 scoundrel and one Soldier. If you have ALL combat then yes the jedi will shine but throw in computer checks, searches, spot, repair, pilot and the other people will do just fine. A jedi has to SPEND lots of points on his force stuff leaving very little for him...
