    I'd disagree that you could drop the non-human races from the core rules. At least if this is supposed to be a "bridge" product - I figure a lot of those new to the game are going to be coming from, as others have said, having seen films or read books such as Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings...

    How about leaving the Burst Fire feat as is, but change the standard "extra bullets are wasted" to +2 to hit? So those without the feat can use 3 or 5 round bursts to improve their chances of hitting, while those with the feat have the option of better hit chance or better damage.
