Looking For A Huge Green Dragon Mini!

If you have an AC Moore or other craft type store they usually have pvc figures that would be about the right size. I picked up a white dragon there for about 11 bucks. Haven't had a chance to use it yet though.

    D&D 5E Who's given up on D&D Next?

I played 2nd ed back in the early 90's and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our group broke up and that was the end of my roleplaying, until 4E came out. 4E brought me back into the fold and it's been great. I didn't like essentials and I'm not looking forward to 5E but hey whatever. They're in the...

    Your d20...an inny or outy?

I'm mostly a player and I have GM's that roll both in front of and behind the screen. Either way is fine with me. If you don't have trust in the GM then your game probably isn't going to be much fun anyhow. I do GM a little bit for our group too and when I do I roll behind the screen. It...

Gaming Efficiency: do you get a lot done in a session

Our home groups normally plays for about 4-5 hours and the amount of "stuff" we can finish varies from session to session. We're mostly beer and pretzel gamers so there's more then a little bit of table chatter and fooling around. As long as everyone's having fun the number of rooms cleared or...

    Key Equipment?

Usually whatever fits in the adventure kit. Light source, fire making equipment, water, rations, rope. You can only reasonably carry so much stuff.

    Key Equipment?

A stout set of armour and a sharp sword. The world is your oyster after that. ;)

Players: Do you wear/carry "props" to the game?

She did. ;) Although she, like my wife, is really only playing as an excuse to "spend time" with us.

    Trying out some indie RPGs...

I got a chance to play Fear Itself a few months ago that was really fun. It's d6 based (gumshoe) and fairly rules light. Here's the synopsis. Fear Itself plunges ordinary people into a disturbing contemporary world of madness and violence. Players take the roles of regular folks much like...

Players: Do you wear/carry "props" to the game?

This post made me laugh. A few years ago our DM was bringing his new girlfriend over to watch our game and see if she would be interested in playing with us. It was around Halloween so I ran to the Party City and bought a crap-load of props for everybody at the table. Cloaks, Viking helmet...
