Who played or ran Night Below?

I run 2/3 of the campaign. I liked the box with all the premade handouts. I found it great during book one. It was very open and dynamic and I remember some roleplaying, exploring, random encounters that turned into returning villains and creative problem solving. Book Nr. 2 turned into a Hit...

Notes from a Savage Worlds fantasy campaign (updated with 05/28/08 session notes!)...

Hi. Glad to hear you enjoy Savage Worlds. But you're right. Somebody having the drop on you is bad news. You have to be very careful when to use it and an ambush does not automatically give you the drop http://www.peginc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13570&highlight=drop Nailom

Tell me about Necropolis (Savage Worlds setting)

Hi. I guess I can help. I have the book but haven't run anything of it yet 1. The players part are 54 pages about half of which is fluff but I would give the players everything. A good players guide can really help to get a feel for the setting. 2. Mixed groups of church and corporation...

    How do you use traps?

I use traps that're more like riddles than actual traps. Easy to find, big and hard to come around.

Do you ever use "expendable henchmen"?

I used something like this. When the PC's entered the dungeon they found it robbed and a lot of really though creatures (for their party) lying slaughtered on the floor. Then they found the adventuring party ripped to pieces. They were pretty scared

    Savage Worlds - battlemat required?

Since there're not so many movement related rules then in D&D (you're either in melee with somebody or not - that's most of it). I guess it's possible.

GAHH!! Time to take a break from 3.5

Hey Steelwind I have the same issues with D&D and they were even getting worse with Iron Heroes. There's nothing the players have to fear so they play as if not one of their deeds had any consequences. I either kill all of them or they wind and 10 minutes later they're back in full strength...

Your experiences with Counter Collection Digital v2.0 GOLD

I own it and it's one of the most useful tools I ever bought. I have enough counters for everything I need and I can write down hitpoints, conditions, spells, Initiative etc on the counter cause I can just print out another one.
