    Skulker's Bow: Is it balanced?

It's basically a feat to allow sneak attacks with long bows, which is fine, considering that he could be spending that feat to gain Greatbow Proficiency. Looks alright to me! Edit: After looking at Tunnel Stalker and the like, you might consider reducing sneak attack damage by one die if you...

    "It's got me! HELP!"

That's even easier, then. "The great conciousness that embodies this earthen beast is beyond mortal comprehension!" I'd say that the ground's intellect is vast enough to focus great amounts of attention on individual parts of the entity.

    "It's got me! HELP!"

For the tentacles: I suggest stating them as brutes, despite the obvious soldier-y role. That'll make them tough, but also very squishy and vulnerable to focused fire. They'll go down quick, but not too quick. Don't worry about the role, so much. As for what status the tentacles can inflict...

Paladin house rule - your thoughts?

I'd say go for it. It'll make the game more fun for him and it doesn't seem like it would break anything. You're letting him have more choice with his powers is all, but he still only gets one set of actions a turn.

    Shadow Showdown

So, since no one else has posted, should I assume that this is a balanced encounter? :P

    Shadow Showdown

Ah, of course you're right, how silly of me. The players will be in a large, open, circular "soul arena" thing, a black disc of midnight in the middle of a vast void. Once the shock of their surroundings wears off, their shadow counterparts are going to appear out of the ground. It will be...

    Shadow Showdown

Howdy folks, it's your resident newb DM, Powertoast. I'm designing and encounter in which the players, who are attempting to take an ancient and evil artifact, must defeat their own inner darkness so as to prove themselves worthy of holding the artifact. I'm representing this with a fight...

    My vision for the Barbarian.

Perhaps when the Barbarian becomes bloodied and goes into a rage, he lets out a war cry that marks all enemies within a 5 square burst for a single turn? A simple mark is unlikely to cause enemies to peel off their targets and provoke OA's just to come to the barbarian and avoid the penalty, but...

    D&D 4E 4e: First try at a Berserker/Barbarian type

I suggest changing the +4 to strength to a simple +2 to hit and to damage with all attacks. That way it dosn't also have the potential of increasing your fort defense, and your skills. Just my two cents though :) Looks cool.

    Two Hit Monsters

I actually really like this 0-level and -1-level monster idea. Do you mind if I steal it? I sure hope not. Yoink!

I wonder whether extending wizards will be practical

It will be as easy as taking the multiclass feats. :D

    Marks from Enemies?

That makes a lot more sense. Thanks a lot! :)

    Marks from Enemies?

I was reading through KotS and I noticed that Dragonshield's mark players when they attack... But it dosen't say what the Dragonshield's mark does. It just marks them. Why should I even bother tracking this if it dosn't DO anything? Or did I miss something??
