I think it has to do with the license, they seemed to have trouble getting the approvals in a timely manner. I think that's one of the reasons for the generic rules books for those systems. Titansgrave puzzles me, I could of sworn I saw on Facebook that Wheaton said they are prepping the second...
There could be, they just started their 2nd campaign set on a different part of the world. But since it's Matt Mercer's homebrewed world I wouldn't expect too much. He does have a couple of classes on DMs Guild that are nice additions but they aren't strictly Tal Dorei.
They used the D&D names...
It's from Critical Role and Matthew Mercer, it's kind of the flagship for Twitch and youtube D&D live plays. He uses the D&D gods in the show but had to change them for the setting book. He's worked with Wizards during their Tomb of Annihilation event in June and has done alot for getting D&D...
The DM makes the call. If it's a wall that's easier or harder then the target number goes up or down. You roll a d20 and add your skill modifier and want to roll higher than what the dm sets. It's all relevant to the target number the dm sets for each individual task. Attacking an enemy would go...
Has anyone found a character sheet for 5e Primeval Thule? I looked at the website but there didn't seem to be any downloads, and there wasn't one in the pdf. I can uses a standard 5e but there are a number of changes that a new sheet would be nice.
Thanks
Just watch (or read) the Dinotopia mini-series, they had some sweet riding scenes! If you don't want it ridden I'd make it smaller - it's your world they can be whatever size you want it to be. Maybe it's young and will grow as the pc levels. If too large it won't be too helpful in cities...
That's why the Beginner Boxes are so cool, not much more then a dice pack and you get a whole adventure, counters, and some pre-gens with it. I bought 2 dice packs and got 2 in the EotE and AoR boxes.
The only thing it didn't have was a GM screen. I even got a 2nd set of dice in mine cause there was quality issues with the first set ... I looked and looked and never saw anything.
Yeah it was $100 - but it was everything ... how much is the D&D core books going to cost by the time all three come out? And really why would they want to release a game that does resemble other rpg's ... just buy those other rpg's. The mechanics were great, and took very little getting used...
They also reprinted all the DC Comics Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and Forgotten Realms in handy graphic novels, complete with gaming stats from the original issues. Not the best D&D comics, but I certainly have a soft spot for them. Now I wish they'd reprint the Dragonlance series DC did at the...
Joel Rosenberg totally as mentioned earlier.
Mercedes Lackey - yeah she's very Disney compared to most of the listed authors, but sometimes a lighter game is as much fun as a darker one.
A couple of lesser known comic books that I'm not surprised aren't on there, but are pretty good D&D...
