    Can't Take 10 with...

Hmm, okay there is one. Then I think I should add The rules say you can choose to take 10 for every skill and every roll - as long as you are not distracted or threatened or the skill description says something else.

Skills you can take 20 on...

I would strongly agree to that.

    Can't Take 10 with...

Taking 10 simply simulates an average roll. So, as the SRD states "if you know (or expect) that an average roll will succeed but fear that a poor roll might fail, [...] you elect to settle for the average roll (a 10)." However, in many cases taking 10 might not be enough to perform the task, so...

    Rope Trick and Handy Haversack

I think as a DM you have to consider the thoughts behind this extradimensional-space-in-extradimensional-space-ruling. In my opinion its mainly to prevent players from exploiting Handy Haversacks and Portable Holes in a way to give their characters unlimited carrying capacity. What about the...

Should i Help my self or my Allies?

I agree to the others above from the effectiveness point of view. But maybe, for your decision, you should also consider what your deity would suppose you to do.

Burst DCs for a door and charginc

I don't recall a ruling concerning charges agains doors in order to break them, either. My first thought on the subject was the same than yours, which is granting the charging character a +2 bonus on his strength check to break the door. The more I come to think about it, the more I think a +2...

I wish they'd add the XP table, too. But I think they won't for good reasons :\

Does being immune count as successfully saving?

I would say it depends on the prestige class' feature of fear immunity. A Platinum Knight i.e. counts as dragon concerning the frightful presence of dragons and is therefore immune. In detail this means he simply ignores the frightful presence of a dragon (see Frightful Presence Ex) and...

    Armed Trip

Hallo, During yesterdays szession two questions occured which I think aren't exactly dealt with in the rules. Assuming a fighter with a battleaxe in one hand and a large shield in the other and the Improved Trip feat, can the character... 1. ...generally attack unarmed without having to...

Can tongues allow a person to speak druidic?

BTW, what's the problem with druidic? Apart from the fact that druids keep it secret there is nothing special about it and it's a language like any other one. I see no problem in allowing a PC to understand and speak druidic for an hour or so.

Can tongues allow a person to speak druidic?

That would refer to situations where a character wants to chat with a creature who's language he usually wouldn't understand. But what about a character eavesdropping on two druids who just now use drudic to communicate with each other? Can he understand what they're saying? Does the spell just...

    Touch Attacks and DR

I don't know this weapon. Does it have other abilities apart from dealing weapon-damage? If that's the case, I think these abilities are not affected by the DR. "DR does not negate" means it does not make a hit via touch attack totally ineffective but it reduces the damage dealt with this weapon...

    Touch Attacks and DR

Okay, I'm no native English speaker, but I think there is a difference in the words negate and affect. DR does not negate touch attacks does not mean it does not affect them.

    Touch Attacks and DR

This cannot be the correct definition of damage reduction. For a creature with DR 5/good, why should there be a spot which could be hit with a good-alligned blade but not with all other weapons? This does not make any sense to me. DR is no kind of armor, which could be bypassed. It's an ability...

    Touch Attacks and DR

I don't agree, Krelios. The text says negate and not affect. I think this refers to the fact, that a TA can transport spells or spell-like effects, regardless whether it dealt any damage or not, because the attacker hit the opponent with a touch attack which cannot be negated by the damage...
