Got AU. Got the mini. Got an autograph from Monte himself. Life is good

BTW, the mini of Malhavoc looks very nice. I haven't studied it in detail or anything, but I was pleased on my first impression. The other minis there for AU look great, as well. Kudos to Malhavoc (Monte & crew) for this great-looking product!

I bought it, and it looks great. The text is plain and clearly stated, the background looks nice and doesn't get in the way. The tables are all well done, including insets and images.

Great work, IMO.

I continue to be impressed with how good d20 materials look especially whenever I glance back at old 1e stuff.

Monte has lots of pictures of the minis over on the AU website. Malhavoc looks cool to me, I won't deface it by painting it myself, but I'll get a talented friend to dress him up nice.

And what Frilf said, Life is good.

Bad Picture of Mini

Somone asked about the minis. Here's the male giant, painted simple steel and silver. Bad picture. I'll try to get a better one after I touch him up. Still have to highlight the small base and check for spill over.

And this is the back of the female giant.

Note the base. It's very close to the body and very thin. This means that even though this is a 'giant', that most reaper figures are on par with her (and him) and that the warhammer miniatures, especially the orcs, are bigger. Especially the warlord reaper orc cheiftian. Man is that guy huge.

I know, bases can be added but...this line is new so I'm hoping other leave feedback too. May not agree with me but let's get the dialogs going!

Nice painting, Joe.

Remember that these are starting giants, which means they're still size M. (I have that Reaper orc you're talking about, and in my game he's going to be size L). The size L giants are coming, probably about a month or so behind this first wave.
