TV on DVD: Tales from the Crypt Season One

I have been waiting patiently for Tales from the Crypt Tv series to be released on DVD. Well my patience has paid off. According to TVshowsnDVD.com, Season One will see release before the year is up. Tales from the Crypt is wonderful TV show that got me thinking about adventure writing after I got into the hobby. I'm really looking forward to having this DVD set.

A worthy group of horror stories. It'll be interesting to compare them to Night Gallery and Twilight Zone now that they'll all be on DVD.

Excellent! I've seen the single DVD that has 3 episodes, but they were far from my favorite episodes of the show.

Extras for the Season On Boxed Set

TVshowsonDVD.com has released the following information about the kind of extras that will be available on the Season One Boxed Set:

Industry sources have provided a tentative list of extras for Tales from the Crypt - The Complete 1st Season, which was announced last week for a July 12th release date. The info does not come to us directly from the studio, so please chuck this in the "Rumor Mill" column for now. Here's the list we were provided, though, from a source we consider to be quite dependable:

• New DVD introduction from the Cryptkeeper (voiced by John Kassir)
• Featurette: "Tales From The Crypt: From Comic Books To Television"
• Featurette: "The Cryptkeeper's History Of Season 1"

We're still waiting on Warner Home Video to release the official roster of supplements for this item, along with box art. Stay tuned and we'll update you when these are available.
