this thread is worthless without pics
I'm sorry, diaglo, I'd like to have shown some pictures, but unfortunately I didn't get any. Maybe I can find them on the club's website. They take pictures every weekend, and people know it, so I don't think there'd be anything wrong with me linking to them, if I find them.

EDIT: I found a picture of the girl I was dancing with. I'm sorry, but it's not very high resolution and the bartender didn't get any pictures of her friends... Sad, really... I hope it'll do.

Something similar did happen to me several years ago.
I was attending a Halloween party in another town with a friend from work at his brother's house. The party was for area law enforcement officers, and employees of a major factory in the area. My friend works at the same police department that I do, and his brother works at a different police agency.
I didn't know anyone at the party except for my friend and his brother, but everyone was very nice, and the alcohol was flowing freely. This girl started flirting with me and asked me to dance, we'll call her K. She was dressed as a cheerleader and was very attractive. I jumped at the chance to dance with her. I talked to her a bit, and learned that she was a Sheriff's Deputy in a different county, and we talked about the many things we had in common. We had a great time, she gave me field sobriety tests to make sure I was safe to drive home, and we kissed before I left.
I was on cloud nine for the next couple of days, but I couldn't make contact with K. I talked to my friend and told him that I was having trouble getting back in contact with K. He looked surprised and and asked me if anyone had told me that K was not into men. He explained that K had been drinking and had a fight with her girlfriend and started dancing with me to make her jealous.
I was pretty angry with everyone involved for letting me play the fool, but I eventually got over it. It took a while, but now I tell the story when my friends get together and it's always good for a laugh. :o
