I was pretty angry with everyone involved for letting me play the fool, but I eventually got over it. It took a while, but now I tell the story when my friends get together and it's always good for a laugh.

The one and only time I ever had a girl dance with me at a club was dancing with other girls before, during and after dancing with me. I had several girls dancing with me at one time. One of the girls pulled me to the dance floor and her friends joined in. One even put my hand on the rear end of the other. I took it away before she turned around and slapped me. This woman likely was not a lesbian. She may just have been a really attractive girl who enjoys dancing for its own sake and wanted to thank MadMaxim for the dance by awarding him the silver medal of getting to watch her kiss another hot girl. I can't think of a nicer way to have the news broken to me that a girl isn't into me -- it gives one both a nice memory and a rejection that has nothing to do with one's own personal qualities and deficiencies. He should have thanked her and then walked away.

With all due respect, fu, you need to be more imaginitive then. Right off the top of my head, having her say, "Sorry but I'm not into guys. But instead I'll give you...a BRAND NEW CAR!!" is better in almost every way.
