I'm trying to find some to buy, haven't had any luck. They look like squashed 8-siders, but are really d10s (I think). My friend said he thought they were Chessex, but they've never heard of 'em...

My guess is that those probably came out of a board game. If Kevin doesn't know what they are, you should try asking on some board gamer sites.

I have four or five of them. I was told they were originally sold as "lottery dice" to pick lottery numbers. They are d10's.

That die does not look like all outcomes has equal probability (8 less probable than 1).

Just thought you should know.

Looks can be deceiving, though. The only way to be sure is testing.

Kevin Does have some in his collection, but no info. I've posted to his thread to see if he can assist.

I know they may not roll true - I'm not especially worried about that, I just think they are kinda neat.
