Dragonlance: Young Heroes 4e (Closed)

When you get around to picking exploits, I would suggest making Flint an offensive-based Fighter, to complement Caramon's defensive build (as befits his character).

Also, Bialaska, doesn't Sleep deal some psychic damage, too?

Also, human racial traits say that Caramon should know one second language. Are there any that he ought to know? Goblin, maybe?

Languages

From what I can remember:

Common
Camptalk (Caramon's second)
Plainsman
Magius (lang. of magic)
Dwarf,hill
Dwarf,mountain
Elven (different dialects) is there a common elven??
Kenderspeak
Goblin
Solmnaic
Ergothian
Gully Talk (Flint can get this one later)

others but these should do for now

There's no damage in the description of the spell. Probably because the secondary effects are quite good (slowed and unconscious) and the spell is a burst 2.

For BendBars/LiftGates

Name: Caramon Majere

Race: Human

Born: In the town of Solace

Life: Born in the year AC 335, along with his brother Raistlin, Caramon was always the stronger of the two, and inherited a jovial, easy-going nature from his father Gilon. As the stronger and older brother, he cared greatly for his weaker twin, and constantly sought to protect him, unknowingly patronising him at times, which Raistlin greatly resented. Caramon was never as smart or intelligent as Raistlin, although he was a powerful warrior in his hood. However, Caramon was no dunce either, although his prolonged association with his quick-minded twin made it seem so. Actually, Caramon was quite a wise man, it was just that he was a little slow, and tended to think things through before acting on them, and furthermore, Caramon was only interested in fighting most of the time. Caramon was quite a handsome youth, and of course attracted the attention of many females, and enjoyed their favours, unlike his twin Raistlin, who was silent, studious and rather frail. Caramon grew up to be a great warrior, with a great sense of justice within him.

For Bialaska

Name: Raistlin Majere

Race: Human

Born: In the town of Solace

Life: Raistlin Majere was born in the year AC 335, along with his twin brother Caramon. He was always a weak boy, often bullied and despised by the other boys. He was a loner, and preferred magic to swordplay. Raistlin had a talent, the power of magic, and he vowed to become powerful one day, so as not to constantly depend on his stronger brother Caramon. Raistlin possessed a keen, intelligent mind, and, as Par-Salian, Head of the Conclave had seen, he also possessed a core of strength within him, a cold, shapeless mass at first, one that had to be forged into finest steel through the trials of hardship and suffering. Thus, it was this way that Raistlin grew up, avoided by many, except his brother, who loved and cared for him almost protectively. Raistlin grew up to be bitter, cynical and arrogant, but within him there was great compassion and caring for the weak, for Raistlin knew what it was like to be weak and suffering.

Wish I had a younger picture. And now I do.

For Zweichneid

Name: Sturm Brightblade

Race: Human

Born: Castle Brightblade, in the land of Solamnia

Life: Sturm was born in the land of Solamnia, and his father Angus Brightblade had been a Knight of the Rose, one of the greatest. Sturm would have followed in his footsteps, except for the fact that the Knights were held in disapproval by the populace when he was a child, so his mother and he had no choice but to flee his ancestral home and seek refuge in Solace. He met Flint and Tanis while living there, and made friends with Caramon and Raistlin, but he never forgot his father, and always acted like a Knight of Solamnia, proud, stern, and honorable, a true gentleman. To uphold the Knights' code, the Oath and the Measure, which maintained that a Knight's honor was his life.

For Wintergypsy

Name: Flint Fireforge

Race: Dwarven (Neidar)

Born: In the town of Hillhome

Life: Flint was born in AC 212, near the Khalkist Mountains, and is the oldest of the companions. He is an artisan, and even had the honor of being invited into the elven forest city of Qualinost by the Speaker of the Sun, Solostaran himself, commisioned to work his arts in woodcarving and metalsmithing. It was here that he first met Tanis Half-Elven, a lonely and depressed youth. When Tanis had to leave Qualinost, Flint went with him, the two outcasts of the elven city journeying towards the town of Solace, soon becoming fast friends. In Solace, Flint soon became a father figure to the Majere brothers, Caramon and Raistlin, who had lost their family then, and taught Caramon the art of fighting. He also met Tasslehoff Burrfoot in Solace, and although he constantly makes a show of how much he s the kender, Flint is actually quite fond of the little guy, and values his companionship greatly. He is actually an old softie at heart, although he actes gruff at times, so as not to show how much he loves his friends.

For ShaggySpellsword

Name: Tasslehoff Burrfoot

Race: Kender

Born: In the town of Kendermore, homeland of the kender

Life: Tasslehoff (Tas) was born in Kendermore (nobody knows exactly when) and is the nephew of the famous Uncle Trapspringer (for real), and met Tanis and Flint during his Wanderlust, a period of time in a kender's life when he feels an urge to travel and see the world. He is so intrigued by them that he decided to stay with them, much to Flint's horror and disapproval. Tas is always cheerful and mischievious, like so many others of his kind, except that he never stole from his friends (not much anyway...). Of course, Tas always maintaines an front, protecting that he never stole anything, he either borrowed it, or it coincidentally fell into his open pouch (yes, all kender carry pouches to contain their "items"). He likes Flint a lot, and always greets the gruff dwarf cheerily, and although the dwarf would never admit it, he is really fond of Tas. Of course, Tas, like many other kender, is highly curious, which gets him in trouble many times, but again, typical of many kender, he is also foolishly brave, even in the face of danger. (In the face of , Tas would go "Are you going to kill me? How are you going to kill me? Are you going to disembowel me? Or feed me to a lion? I've never been eaten by a lion before, I wonder if it's fun....Will the lion eat me head first or what?" Well...you get the idea...).

For Ivid

Name: Tanthalas Quisif nan-Pah (Tanis Half-Elven)

Race: Half-elf

Born: Forests of Qualinesti, in the city of Qualinost

Life:Tanthalas (Tanis) was born in the elven city of Qualinost, in the year AC 247, the son of Elansa Kanan. However, his mother was d by a human mercenery, and died shortly after birthing him, so Elansa's brother-in-law, Solostaran, the Speaker Of The Sun, raised Tanis along with his children. Due to his mixed heritage, Tanis was an outcast, constantly regarded as a half-human . When he was still a young elf, Tanis, already lonely and miserable by then, met a hill dwarf, Flint Fireforge, who had come to sell his wares in the elven city due to his superior metalworking. They soon became fast friends, as Flint easily recognised the loneliness in the half-elf, and Tanis was a great help as well. However, things soon took a turn for the worse. Solostaran's daughter, Lauranalanthalasa (Laurana) Kanan, fell in love with Tanis, and this caused life for the half-elf to be very unconfortable, as Solostaran and the other elven nobles did not approve of Tanis mixing with an elven maiden. Eventually, Tanis left the city of Qualinost with Flint, wearing a ring of golden ivy given to him by Laurana.

Heh, should have known you made these, before I posted a background of my own in the forum with the character sheet.
