The Jade Frontier (DM: Ukingsken, Judge: Lord Sessadore)

Miranna gave the Emissary a worried glance, as if she expected the creature to get back to its feet. Then she returned to the business at hand... She stepped forward along the wall, then pointed her sword at the wyrmpriest- lightning danced along the blade, then surged forward across the gap, momentarily wrapping around the kobold spellcaster.

OOC: Move forward to N7; Minor to mark the wyrmpriest with Aegis of Assault; Standard to attack wyrmpriest with Lightning Lure. Ranged 3, +4 vs. FORT= 9 (miss); rolls Roll Lookup

Cheysuli Sage

When the goblin falls, Chey once again morphs into the stone floor of the cavern, stepping out of a wall a short distance away; out of sight of everyone. She hits the ground mid stride and doesn't err from her course, once she has the kobold priest's back in view she promises the creature that it will spend it's next life as a worm and calls forth the fury of the Feywild from it's veins. Bright white flames burst from it's eyes and mouth as it screams in agony.

[sblock=Actions]Free - Misty Step to K12
Move - move to P12 keeping concealment
Minor - Curse wyrmpriest
Standard - :ranged:Witchfire vs. Ref (1d20+4= 21; 2d6+4= 8 fire damage; 1d6= 3 curse damage) and the target takes a -5 penalty to attack rolls until the end of your next turn. [/sblock]

Letting out a low groan from the wyrmpriest's attack, she barely manages to stay on her feet but she is still quite weakened. Yet she sees this is not the moment to strike back at him, not yet and turns to attack the kobold behind her.

[sblock=Combat Actions] Standard, spend my Second Wind and I regain 6hp and have a bonus 2 to my defences.
I can't move without provoking an Attack of Op, so I'm going to spend my Action Point (I do have one, right, don't I?) and attack Denwarden 11 with Warsong Strike. Invisible Castle is down again (Why is it ALWAYS down at this time when I get home from work?) so that's a +10 to my roll with the flank from Brenwar and 1d8+5 damage if it's a hit. If the site comes bakc up, I'll edit it.

[sblock=OOC]Basically I'm trying to cut my way out of the fight, we're out of healing spells and I'm still bloodied even with my SW.[/sblock]

[sblock=Firete]You start the day with an action point. So if you didn't spend one in the waterfall encounter, then you'd have one now. Natural 1, by the way. Sorry.[/sblock]

The priest howls in pain from Chey's attack. This howl deepens into a roar, and flames erupt from his mouth, washing over Firete and Miranna. The former is able to partially dodge the fire. The priest steps forward, "You may have killed our Emissary, and you may kill us, but you will never defeat our master's most glorious servant."

The other kobold maneuvers to behind Miranna. Despite a painfully bright flash of light, he still manages to pierce her armor, injuring her badly.

[sblock=Status]Firete (9/28, bloodied, +2 to all defenses)
Cheysuli (21/26+3, Concealed)
Miranna (9/29
, bloodied, marked)
The Emissary
(-106, dead)
Brenwar (21/29
+3)
Yishim (18/22+3)
Denwarden 11 (-5+1)
Denwarden 93 (-37
, dead)
Wyrmpriest (-19
, bloodied)
The Emissary
(-106, dead)

Chey bloodies the Wyrmpriest, but she's too far away to benefit from Virtue of Valor.

Denwarden 11 delays until after the Wyrmpriest, who casts Dragon's Breath, a close blast 3, on Firete and Miranna. Thanks to Witchfire, it's +1 versus Fort, but it still hits Miranna (and it only missed Firete because of her defense bonus). Miranna takes 6 fire damage, and Firete takes 3. Then he moves to O7.

The Denwarden double shifts to M7 and attacks Miranna, hitting for 9 and taking 4 damage from Divine Challenge. Miranna is bloodied and marked. As part of the Denwarden's mark, if Miranna attacks a target besides the Denwarden
, he gets to make a MBA against her. If it hits, in addition to damage, Miranna will grant CA to all attackers until the end of his next turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=Monster Info]Here's what you know:
The Emissary
AC 18 | Fort ?? | Reflex 14 | Will 15
MBA: +8 vs AC, 1d8+4, +d10 necrotic when bloodied.

Denwarden
AC 18 | Fort ?? | Reflex 16| Will 16
MBA: +7 vs AC, 1d8+1 damage, and the target is marked until the end of the Denwarden's next turn. Also, the Denwarden gets +1 to attack rolls for each kobold ally adjacent to the target.

Wyrmpriest
AC 17 | Fort 13 | Reflex 15| Will 15
MBA: +7 vs AC, 1d8 damage[/sblock]

Not sure that is the updated map, and did you mean the Denwarden shifted to M7? Or am I just vastly confused (known to happen).
[/sblock]

ooc: Crumbs. I updated everything except the Denwarden's movement. The description is correct. New map in a sec.

Update: Map is fixed. Description is fixed. Everything is fine, now. How are you?

Again Yishim steps back from the fray and unleashes a vaporous bolt shaped like a muscled arm. The Wyrmpriest dodges aside, as Yishim curses.

[sblock=OOC]Still can't move without provoking an Attack of Op, dammit! Miranna's in a bit of a bind there, time for something different...[/sblock]

Weaker after the kobolds attack, Firete still manages to stand her ground. She summons what little strength she has left and slashes at the Wyrmpriest, raising her voice in a rousing cresado as she attacks inspiring all of the others to fight.

[sblock=OOC Katana]Couldn't you shift away after your attack - out of melee range, at least? Though fair that the kobolds could double shift to get to you again if they wanted to. It's a neat race - a friend once played a Kobold Rogue, which was diabolical[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]I thought I couldn't move out of a contested square without provoking an Attack of Op, looks like I was wrong. I'll edit as I didn't put all the bonuses to Verse of Triumph anyway. [/sblock]
