Water Problems [DM: Voda Vosa; Judge: Kalidrev!]

The boiling hot sun causes Torqua to become light headed, not even her cool bottle of wine helped. Trying to keep from blacking out, she makes chit-chat with her travelling companions. "So do you think Lord Losador liked me? Of course he did, who the 7 or 8 or how many there are hells wouldn't?" Torqua asks, sounding more than a little bit out there, her body swaying from side to side. "You know Myoko, it might be the wine or the fact my head feels like it's on fire, but you'd look cute if you put on some weight. More cushion for the....something." She adds, laughing to herself.

Kavac's body may not be used to the heat but even though his body is dripping with sweat he can tell that he is doing better than some of his companions. He takes a large mouthful of water and looks forward to nightfall. Kavac turns to Myoko and shouts out, "How long until we reach the first Oasis?"

Vardaal continues to plod one foot in front of the other, his heavy boots sinking in deep into the sand and require more energy each time to pull out. His thoughts are on this land that he already doesn't like, no pies, no crushing, just lots of hot sand. These thoughts insulate the bugbear from the heat as his focus is on what he's going to do once back in Daunton.

The group walks up on a huge sand dune, and after reaching the peak, the oasis can be seen, not far from there. As the five adventurers descend the dune, Torqua trips again, due to her exhaustion. As she tripped, he saw Losador in her mind, like a delirious imagery, his body shifting as she precipitates down the dune, rolling over all the four others. The ball of people reach the foot of the dune, lifting a could of sand. The hard thing now was getting up and walking to the oasis,

Vardaal lifts his face up out of the sand, again, and then promptly lies back down. "No mommy, Vardaal no want to get up now, you lets me sleep I just wait here and come get me when you gots the ratberry pies..." and he closes his eyes.

After a moment the bugbear pushes himself up, despite his earlier words. "C'mon we gotta go and crush the bad ones, otherwise we no get out pay and Mr. Fanciest Hat man will be mad."

Torqua picks herself off the ground, only to turn around and realize that she has just run over her comrades like a runaway boulder "Ummmm, sorry about that." The Fat Sorceress says rather sheepishly as the others are forced to pick themselves out of the sand. "I don't break anything, did I?"

Turning around, Torqua spots the oasis in the distance, rubbing her eyes to make sure it wasn't mi
rage. "Hells' Bells, we're here! Turns out I'm effective method of desert transportation." She says, the idea of fresh cold water filling her with renewed energy.

Finally at the oasis!

The group manages to keep going, with the promise of fresh water at hand. As the group closes to the oasis, they note the palm trees withered and dry, as the vegetation spawning under them. The central basin mud is dry, save for a small pond of remaining water, that keeps the near mud moisten. As the mercenaries go through the vegetation, crushing it under their feet, they note something strange: A hole, the size of a dwarf, with a pile of earth next to it. Sprouting from the loam soil, there's a scimitar, a spear and a morning star. Next to where they are standing, Myoko notes the aqueduct from Asamadar, on the dry part of the oasis basin, next to the remains of water.

OOC: The vegetation is difficult terrain (DT) like the slippery mud. The palms give cover. State your position in the map and your actions gang. I'm moving along since Frost seems to be away, and with 3 successful rolls you succeed.

Frost holds everyone up before they enter the area and looks around for any threats, but seeing none draws a blade in his left hand and begins moving towards the hole to investigate.

Still here. Just stupidly rolled all my endurance checks before you asked for them.

Perception before entering the area for any movement - 1d20 8=13 guess not.

Ok, move towards hole (coming in from the west side?)
