Hey there,
Halford. Nice background material you have there.

Colour me interrested in gallavanting and slaying my way through Alluran.
How's this for a character? A missionary cleric of Tharr, here to show, by direct example, the virtues of being a self-made man. When he got in Marn he first went to serve his three years at the Wall, insisted on it in fact -- and how he got to get that "privilege" is a story by itself. Nobody trusted him, of course, so he got the crappiest jobs, the most grossly dangerous assignements. That was the entire point : to show that anybody can (and *should*) start small, at the very botom, and climb up. It worked too, in the mist part. In the last year he got assigned to a special exterminator team, tasked with striking deep beyond the wall, seeking out monster gatherings, nest, etc, and "dispersing" them. He wasn't the official leader, also of course, but his advice was valued and the graces of Tharr were, perforce, accepted by his comrades. He earned the rank of Sergeant on the week of his discharge, a kind of "posthumous" award for good services.

He still wears the honorary double stripes on his armoured left shoulder, as is his right.
Since then he's been adventuring with [insert character names here], the team building up a solid reputation as the go-to place for difficult tasks requiring *intelligently targetted* applications of extreme force. This last assignement is perticularly delightful for him, neatly undescorring the folies of an heriditary-based system while providing a golden chance for him to dabble into *prophecies*, something that has always fascinated him. And rightly so, for a man that will one day become an immortal.

<OOC: Took liberties with some of the background details - sorry about that. Corrections and adjustements are welcomed with open arms.
<TO ALL: Anybody wants to be in a pre-existing adventuring group with my guy? I figure we could have been in the same strike team (or a sister team). Say the prince comes to the party with the job and the core party (whoever that ends up to be) fills out its ranks with specialized people they know and trust for this special task? And/or a recent party loss could lead to the call to Avodan, for example. What do you guys think?
