As Yishim paves the hall in ice, you hear a shriek from around the southern corner. The body of another goblin falls into view,

Malgrim pushes himself back up to his feet and continues his flight, vaulting over the corpse of his clansman as he does so.

The other goblins look nervously at Malgrim's retreating back, then turn towards the party. There is much stabbing and throwing with sharp weapons, but it is mostly in vain. Only Brenwar is wounded, and not heavily, at that.

Pulls don't have to be directly towards you. It's just that every square of pull needs to move the target closer to you. And the reverse is true for pushes. Given 4e's non-Euclidean geometry, this can get pretty weird. You can pull/push someone along what appear to be 45 degree angles.

Didn't see Cutting Words' damage, so I rolled it myself. 8. Also, there was a fourth target in the Icy Terrain burst: a Cutter in B14. He is hit, and, since Cutters are minions, he is killed.

I'm going to say Yishim gains the Virtue of Valor thp this round, because he's pretty squishy and I have a tendency to jump him when no one's looking. Also, Virtue of Valor should be granting 4 thp, rather than 3.

Malgrim stands and runs out of sight. He was last seen going north from -A12.

Warrior 81 moves to A13. He then uses Mobile Ranged Attack (MRA), an at-will power all goblin warriors have, which allows them to move half their speed and make a ranged attack at any point during the movement that doesn't draw an AoO. Anyway, he scoots to A11 and chucks a javelin at Miranna, but misses.

Warrior 86 moves to A17, then uses (MRA) to move to A19 and attacks Brenwar, hitting for 8 damage.

Warrior 89 prepares for death attacks Brenwar, but he doesn't do so well.

Cutter 49 charges Brenwar, misses. Stupid goblins. Stupid defenders. Your turn.

[sblock=OOC]Yeah, I think he's a lost cause. We'll have to deal with him some other time. In retrospect I guess I could have action pointed and pulled him with a Phantom Bolt one more square towards us forcing him to deal with 3 squares of Icy Terrain. Oh well, never had someone try so hard to run away from us before; now we know.

The only option is if someone finishes off Warrior 89 and either Miranna or Brenwar wants to play fraternity pledge to chase after Malgrim. You could Charge him as he can't be very far around the corner.

Is the area near Malgrim well lit?[/sblock]
Yishim looks at the tightly bunched group of goblins in front of Miranna and Brenwar and unleashes arcane fire on them. Only the bloodied Goblin Warrior feels the fire. The coward got away - though I'm sure we'll see him again soon!

As one goblin warrior quickly become several, Chey watches the chieftain closely, marking his route as he runs off. Seeing a weedy looking goblin charge at Brenwar, the tiefling girl hurls promises of maddening torments at the creature before stalking forward, she can sense the release of her foes aether.
After closing the distance between herself and the goblins, Chey releases a blast of green fey-fire at one of the greenskins.

Miranna gave a last angry glare in the direction of the fleeing goblin (off to warn his masters in the caves below, no doubt), but there was little she could do to stop him. Instead she turned her attention to the foes in front of her. Her sword spun in a wide cut, trailing a fringe of arcing lightning which leapt through the first rank towards the next warrior in line...

OOC:

ooc: Warrior 89 is dead. The area Malgrim ran into isn't well lit, but spill-over light + low light vision should be good enough for you to see. Alternatively, I'd allow Yishim to cast light on Chey as one of his unused actions.

edit: more ooc: Actually, Chey killed the warrior. If Miranna would would like to shift into -A20 before attacking to catch 86 with that Sword Burst, then that's alright by me.

Brenwar moves through the battle trying to get in position to pursue Malgrim. He manages to flank the goblin Miranna is battling but it is ready for his attack and parries the hammer.
