The penalty won't allow Gellan to hit this time, but both effects will last for next round.

And that's my turn for the round. If anyone who's bloodied can draw back into this room, it will make it easier for me to reach you next turn. Otherwise, I'll just do my best to disentangle from this guy after Gellan's next turn.[/sblock]
 

Zharne stumbles back into the room and gets hit by Karl's axe again then he scuttles towards Minharath, who Zharne hopes can help against this infernal blindness and he hears Gellan and Min so and he charges the middle as he hopes he will hit that enemy which he does

Round 6

Gellan snarls in fury as his prey scatters around him, then a cry from Minharath brings his attention back to the world. "Hey Priest! You need a hand back there?" he shouts as he weaves his way through the room, the spirit of the great cat speeding his movements. A quick swing at the mace-wielding human is blocked, however, and Gellan snarls yet again.

Thorn lashes out at his enemy but his wounds cause him to miss. Thorn bites throught the pain and spins his spear in another wide arc, this time hitting L'Orin, albeit weakly.

"Your fight is with me, Orc!" tells Gloom as he swings at Pugg. The orc received a solide blow that send him over 15 feet away, landing on his feet next to Thorn.
Gloom then join Zharne. "Regroup, I'll hold them up while you join Min." His blade burst into fire and Gloom slash at Karl who is heavily burned and his clothes burst into fire.

Puggs quickly turns to face Thorn, a maddened look upon his face. He howls an incomprehensible battle cry and launches a furious attack at Thorn. What the swing had for power it lacked in accuracy, the axe barely nicking Thorn, with the follow through taking it right around and slamming into the column beside him. If the chunk of stone taken our of the column is any indication of the potential power of pugs swings, it would be wise to finish this one off quickly Thorn thinks to himself.

L’Orin swings out at Thorn with his long sword hoping to finish him off and scores a hit, but the rugged shifter stays on his feet.

Jhob takes a step to the side and brings his mace down on Zharnes back. He then quickly takes another step trying to get around Zharne and away from Gellan.

Karl moves past Gloom quickly swinging out with his axe as he passes by. The axe cannot penetrate Glooms defenses though and Karl snarls at Gloom, a look of newfound respect upon his face. “Face me Moonchild, you are worth prey” he shouts at Gloom.

As Glooms attention is drawn momentarily by Karl, M’Orin loosens an arrow that finds it mark, fiery pain shooting through Glooms side. She then quickly steps back into the room behind her.

Just as quickly the Half-Elf appears, long sword and dagger in hand and he stabs out with the sword. Although not as painful as the arrow, the sharp blade also bites into Glooms midsection. In a flash he withdraws the blade and leaps backward, bringing his other arm around in an arc, letting the dagger fly as he does so. The dagger finds a home in the doorframe just above Glooms head. The half elf smiles at him “No one messes with the Jackals and lives to tell about it my hairy friend.”

Gloom can see the form of the third figure, the robed goblin move down a passage at the far end of the room, his cackling laughter echoing off in the distant tunnel.

Thorn - Standard: Reaping Strike against L'Orin.
1d20+7 (vs. AC)=9 a wild miss.
Action Point (1of2) for another standard action: he tries that again:
1d20+7 (vs. AC)=20 a hit!
1d10+6 (damage)=8 damage including +2 for longtooth shifting. This brings L'Orin from 23 hp to 15 hp. Nice catch RedBeardJim. Add 4 more damage to L'Orin
Free - he keeps his combat challenge on L'Orin

Gloom - Minor: Ardent Vow
Standard: Divine Pursuit (1d20+9=19, 2d8+16=21) Hit for 21 damage. He is under my divine sanction. He is pushed to M21. Gloom doesn't follow.
Move: Walk to K26
Action Point: Blazing Brand vs. Fort on Karl (1d20+9=24, 2d8+7=14) Hit! He takes 14 fire damage, ongoing 5 fire damage and grant CA to any of my ally adjacent to him (save ends both). All this damage is lethal, I hardly see fire doing non-lethal damage.

Pugg – Attack Thorn with battle axe, hitting AC 18 for 8 damage (Arrghh, 2d10+5 and I roll 8 freaking damage…). As a result of Divine sanction Pugg takes an additional 5 points of damage.

L’Orin – Attack Thorn with Longsword, hitting AC 17 for 5 damage.

Jhob – Shifts to H19 & Attack Zharne with Mace, hitting AC 23 for 5 damage, which triggers another shift to I20

Karl – Takes ongoing 5 fire damage. Shifts to K27,attacks Gloom with battleaxe, hitting AC 15 – a MISS & shifts to J26. saves vs ongoing damage = 2 – FAIL.

M’Orin – Attacks Gloom with Longbow, hitting AC 13 – a MISS – uses Elven accuracy hitting AC 24 for 13 damage, & shifts to N28.

H’raken – Moves to L27 & attacks Gloom with his long sword, hitting AC 30 for 5 damage & shifts to M27 & throws his dagger at Gloom, hitting AC 14 – a MISS. Minor action he pulls out another dagger.

Shar-Doo – Moves somewhere out of your sightlines, laughing all the way.

I just wanted to apologize for my lack of regular posts lately. RL has been very busy the last couple of weeks and unfortunately it is the hobbies that suffer. Hopefully I can now keep up and post more frequently.

"I'll start with you and will take care of the others after." tells Gloom at Karl and swing at him. He connect with a solid blow that flash into a light. Gloom then move back into the doorway and try to get some cover from the other opponents.

Zharne sneezes out a cloud of flies at the enemy in front of him then he takes a step back and he regains his sight
