Lord Ogglebottoms Odd Tasks: All in a Nights Work (DM: DMDanW, Judge: Renau1g)

Gellan steps forward quickly, aiming another heavy swing at the mace-wielding human, who is too distracted by the cloud of buzzing flies to see him coming. The blade of Gellan's tan'gat slams into the haft of the human's mace, and the force is great enough to cause the head of the weapon to smack its wielder in the face. He drops heavily as Gellan presses on, circling around behind the orc. "Thorn! Let's take this big fellow down, eh?"

Standard: Attack Jhob with Pressing Strike. Shift to I-19 before the attack, which misses, even with CA. Blang dang it, that would have dropped him too.

If I read everything right, Gellan rolled a 15 against Jhob's AC of 16. Dan, is that 16 calculated with or without the -2 from Minharath's Astral Seal, which is still in effect?[/sblock]

Good catch, Tomalak! He had the 16 AC before you used Astral Seal on him, so he's at a 14 now. So that's a hit!

Re-writing my post now.[/sblock]

Yes, good catch guys.

The stats I present are their basic stats. Any modifiers which happen during combat need to be taken into consideration.

Just waiting on Thorn and Minharath to go and then with any luck we can get an update posted today!

Barely alive, his fur matted in blood, Thorn hears Gellan's plea. Thorn bites his lip and holds his resolve. Using Gellan's approach to divide the enemy's attention, he lashes out with his spear and causes a greavous wound to Pugg.
With blood running down his face and in his eyes, Thorn scampers back a few feet howling out to Minharath in pain (down to 3 hps).

[sblock=Actions]
Standard: Reaping Strike, against Pugg. Adding +2 for CA with Gellan flanking.
1d20+9 (vs. AC)=27 a Hit!
1d10+6 (damage)=15 this damage includes Thorn's longtooth shifting. This brings Pugg down to 4 hp from 19.
Move: shift to K21, hoping to avoid any OAs.

Your last status had Thorn at 2 Action Points. He used 1 last round, and is using another this round. His total should now be 0 APs. [/sblock]

Ya sorry Banesfinger, only 1 AP per encounter.
Generally that is why if you know you are coming up on a milestone it is good to spend the AP before the encounter is over.

OOC: Also when did Thorn activate his longtooth shifting? was it last round? if so Thorn should have 5 hp, not 3, when his turn is over as he has regen 2 when bloodied

By my count Thorn was not bloodied until this last round and has not had the chance yet to activate his longtooth shifting. Please correct me if I am wrong - I looked back a few pages and did not notice it, but if it is there please let me know.
