By my count Thorn was not bloodied until this last round ...Please correct me if I am wrong...

[sblock=ooc]
Sorry about the 2 AP in 1 encounter thingy...to correct it Thorn will not be able to move back to Minharath and will stay at K21. I will edit my post.

As for the longtooth shifting: yes, Thorn used it several rounds ago in this encounter. Unfortunately he was healed right after using it and was therefor not bloodied any longer (thus losing his regeneration ability...which I assume doesn't come back 'on' when he gets bloodied again). However, the power expressly states his +2 damage bonus remains for the entire encounter.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I agree with Ozymandias79.

Longtooth Shifting said:
Until the end of the encounter, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls. In addition, while you are bloodied, you gain regeneration 2.

The underlined passage state that you need to be bloodied to regenerate. It never tells you lose the regeneration.

At the opposite, when you lose it, it is generally clearly told:

Astral Splendor said:
Special: This stance ends when you become bloodied.

[sblock=Actions]
Move action: Move to K-20
Standard Action: Beacon of Hope. +5 vs Will. Targets: Pugg (12), L'Orin (13), (I targetted Karl, then realized I can't reach him, so ignore roll #3)
1d20+5=23, 1d20+5=17, 1d20+5=11
Pugg and L'Orin are weakened until the end of their next turn.
Each PC heals 10 hp, and My healing powers are +5 for the rest of the encounter.[/sblock]

Banesfinger - The regeneration kicks back in every time you become bloodied for the remainder of the encounter [That is why my shifter character from living Eberron does everything he can to get bloodied as fast as possible].

Alright, full update coming soon!

First off - Sorry for the delay - Internet was down at work since Friday morning and I forgot to bring home the info.

OK now on with the game.......

Round 7

"I'll start with you and will take care of the others after." tells Gloom at Karl and swing at him. He connect with a solid blow that flash into a light. Gloom then move back into the doorway and try to get some cover from the other opponents.

Zharne sneezes out a cloud of flies at the enemy in front of him then he takes a step back and he regains his sight

Gellan steps forward quickly, aiming another heavy swing at the mace-wielding human, who is too distracted by the cloud of buzzing flies to see him coming. The blade of Gellan's tan'gat slams into the haft of the human's mace, and the force is great enough to cause the head of the weapon to smack its wielder in the face. He drops heavily as Gellan presses on, circling around behind the orc. "Thorn! Let's take this big fellow down, eh?"

Barely alive, his fur matted in blood, Thorn hears Gellan's plea. Thorn bites his lip and holds his resolve. Using Gellan's approach to divide the enemy's attention, he lashes out with his spear and causes a greavous wound to Pugg.
With blood running down his face and in his eyes, Thorn scampers back a few feet howling out to Minharath in pain (down to 3 hps).

Minharath moves up and channels divine energy through himself, sending out a brilliant beacon which invigorates his allies and has his foes reeling from its power. (Tomalak, you didn’t provide a descriptive so I improvised. sorry if this doesn’t match what you would have otherwise done, but I needed something….)

Karl lets loose a furious roar and steps to the side bringing his axe down hard. It slams into Gloom and with another roar Karl puts a little more strength behind the swing. He then quickly steps back, the flames daning on his clothes getting snuffed as he does.

H’raken steps up and as Gloom recovered from Karls mighty swing, he burries his longsowrd into his midsection. With a groan, Gloom slumps down to the floor, blood visibly starting to pool around him. H’raken then takes a quick step over the prone form of Gloom and throws his dagger, which finds a home in Thorn shoulder. Quickly another dagger appears in his free hand, and a grin spreads on his face.

M’Orin steps up into the open doorway letting an arrow fly towards Thorn, but it sails harmlessly overhead.

Pugg seems to ignore the pain being inflicted on him and he swings again at Gellan, his axe hitting true. Not backing off a step he simply continues to snarl and face off with Gellan.

L’Orin steps up to Thorn and stabs out at him with his longsword, but it does not penetrate his old, but trusty armor.

OK so on the map there are question marks - that is because the files the map is trying to reference are on my work PC, not here at home.

[sblock=OOC]

I tend to play subtle characters by only posting what I need to, in this case I intentionally left out a description. I was going to write into my next turn a description of what had happened, as part of an accumulating effect.
And though what you wrote is exceedingly different in style from the way I've been writing Minharath's healing descriptions, the description wasn't bad, nor did it really clash with the character, just the way I've been writing for him. Next time I try to do something unusual like that, I'll let you know in advance.

I also note that Minharath isn't moved on the map, but his movement is recorded in the status. I'll just presume he moved as posted, please let me know if there was an issue and he can't.
[/sblock]

Standing amidst the screams and strikes of furious battle, Minharath stands tall and serene, his eyes closed, his hands at his sides. Raising one hand close to him, plam up, he begins to whisper a prayer so quiet only his goddess can hear. A fire begins to form in his palm, a guttering tongue as a candle in the wind. Quickly it grows, spreading along his palm until it casts flickering shadows around him. Dropping his hand to his side, Minharath casts the lam to his own feet, where it catches the hem of his robe. The fire catches and burns strong and bright. Moving quickly up his body, the light becomes a steady beacon overwhelming all other sources of light in the room. The heat of the flame reaches out from Minharath, warming friends and enemies alike. Those who fight beside him, however, know that the flames cannot harm them. The comforting flame burns the shed blood, destroying even the gashes in their flesh, healing them body and soul. Even as Minharath stands unharmed in a pillar of flame, so do his allies find themselves without mark from the hard battles behind them.

[sblock=Gloom]Waiting on the floor for the return of a dread voice, Gloom hears another, gentler voice instead. This one does not command; it invites.
In his mind, he is recalled again to the scene of his village's destruction. But this time, it does not look the same. He does not see the butchers slaughtering the defenseless. He does not see injustice and murder, abandonment by all that is good.
Instead, he sees terrible enemies descending on brave defenders. He sees glorious stands against overwhelming force. He sees bravery, devotion, and sacrifice. He sees good people, defying evil with the last ounce of their strength.
The end result is the same, but it is up to Gloom to determine what is more important: the destination, or the road traveled. Eyes opening, the smells of combat reach Glooms nostrils. [/sblock]

Raising his hand before him again, Minharath calls the fire back to him. The light and heat do not diminish as the flame that does not consume coalesces into his palm. Now no larger than a child's ball, the light is nearly blinding. With a forceful motion, Minharath casts his arm forward, throwing the collected flame at L'Orin.

[sblock=Actions]Standard: Healer's Mercy - Thorn, Gloom, and Gellan can each spend a healing surge and regain Surge Value + 9 hit points, leaving them at 24 (not bloodied), 18 (bloodied), and 19 (not bloodied) respectively.
Minor: Healing Word - Gloom can spend another healing surge and regain Surge Value + 10 hit points, putting him at 37/38 (not bloodied).
Action Point: Astral Seal against L'Orin (Reflex 15):1d20+7=19
L'Orin has a -2 to all defenses, heals the first of Minharath's allies to hit him for 10 hp, and has a cool thematic-only fire burning him without blackening his flesh or clothing. All until the end of Minharath's next turn.

Summary: Thorn spends 1 surge and is at 24
Gloom spends 2 surges and is at 37
Gellan spends 1 surge and is at 19
No players are bloodied
Three 1's on healing, but at least I hit with the attack...
Tried updating my signature, but it won't let me use strikethroughs. I'll have to figure out what I'm doing wrong.[/sblock]

Gellan feels Minharath's healing magic wash over him and grins at the orc. "Bet you wish you had someone like that on your side, eh ugly?" In a flash, he steps past the orc to stab at the elf, catching the orc on a backswing and leaving him bleeding and unconscious on the floor.

[sblock=Actions]Minor: Draw offhand weapon
Move: Shift to M-22
Standard: Attack L'Orin with Whirling Rend. Hits with a 16. L'Orin takes 10 damage, Pugg takes 6 and is knocked unconscious. Gellan regains 10 HP from Astral Seal and is now at full health.[/sblock]

"Thank the gods for Minharath." Thorn mutters as her healing flame washes over his wounds.

With a simple back-hand jab of his spear butt, Thorn smashes L'Orin in the nose, knocking him to the ground. Then he rushes to Gloom's aid.

[sblock=Actions]
Standard: Reaping Strike on L'Orin, with his spear's reach. I am not bothering to roll, since Reaping Strike causes 4 damage even on a miss and L'Orin is down to 1hp after Gellan's attack.
Move: Walk to K-23, giving Gloom flanking (CA) against H'raken.
