Adventure: Into the Wild

Iron Sky

Procedurally Generated
Dante growls as he hears of what happens in the mansion. "In Dis, the Umbara... devils have din'Bath... death pits where savok... slaves are sent to fight and die for the Umbara's whim. Dante says these ones should taste of their own."

He seems taut, like a coiled spring as they near the mansion and Virgil seems to sense the tension, his usually placid, bumbling demeanor replaced with feral alertness.

"Easy Dante. They may deserve the pain, but these are fey hunters and rich ones. With Fey Lord controlling the plane. You don't just go in and start killing. If we enter without invitation, we become prey. I say we ask around. Buy noble dress for at least one of us or join one of lesser hunters if any is looking for help. THEN we start killing."

Rocco seems almost eager for that last part, regardless the fact his life may be forfeit.
"Oh, and we may become hunted by this Lord of the Hunt so life will never again be dull."

"We disagree. Lord of the Hunt is within his domain and it's his right to hunt weaker then he is. He is top predator here.

However, bringing prey from outside is wrong and we'll help as we can. We cannot hope to match the fury of Feylord, we need indirect approach. We...Dante and Nementah...may try to gain access secretly if we don't gain approval. What's needed for hunting rights?

Maybe Ibram Gaunt may be the hunter for us?"

Not one for waiting, Renquist leads the way to a nearby tavern, aiming for a higher scale one. The kind of one he would avoid being in himself. He asks Ibram to stand near the door and walks to the barkeep.

"My Master," indicating Ibram, "has heard tale of a mighty hunt held by Ethan Severus. He would like to... participate. Tell me now who he must talk to get invited or I'll scream like a girl that I found rats in the soup."

[sblock=OOC]That felt a bit more like a bluff than an intimidate, but all right, why not![/sblock]

The guards are startled and look at each other. They decide you really are here to hunt and they open the door.

-''Please come with me, sirs...''

The guard leads the group inside the manor until they reach the gate room, manned by a gruff gnome. The gate is active and doesn't even seem to be something that can be shut down. It's directly against the wall and emits hazy light.

-''More hunters, Captain.''

-''Ain't on the list.'' he frowns. ''Show me your receipt from the governor.''

The gnome seems more than suspicious.

Thankfully, the gate seems easy enough to operate, because it looks you'll have to fight your way through! By the look of it, all you need is to grab one of a bucketful of jade pendant and then walk

[sblock]Sorry about the time it took me. Busy these days. Virtual Battlemat is still down so I can't whip up the maps in 5 minute. I'll use GIMP tomorrow afternoon.[/sblock]

"What's this all then? I believe we asked to participate, not to be prestented to a clerk with an attitude! We're from Daunton, not locals! There should be a guide provided, not drag The Lord through the streets. Where's t'govnor is?"

-''Enough lies. You may have bamboozled my illterate guards, but if you haven't met the governor, you don't belong here. Arrest them!'' shrieks the gnome.

The guards turn on the heroes. They don't look like too much trouble. But a spined devil appears in a nearby staircase. Ah. He seems like trouble.

"We said we asked to be allowed to hunt. If somebody pointed out we need to talk to governor we would have. You're weak, because you don't accept your weakness. Now, it's your fault your lords property gets damaged."

Nementah calls upon Primera and she appears at her side, charging the guard at the door.
"Don't kill him!" she calls after Primera and the unicorn tosses it's head at the last moment, battering the guard with her powerful shoulder.

As Primera hits thin layer of spirits creates armor over Dante and his lizard.

Renquist cooly draws his blade. "If this is how you want it gnome, we will oblige."

He steps forward and strikes the guard with a blow enforced with holy power. Some of the dark holy power lingers on the guard.
