I must be going crazy. I was sure that H5 is right behind kal'Taron. I had no intention of going by to zombie, but to engage it. Suffering one extra attack, loosing LoE to the rest of the party and moving into the unknown...all silly things.

I even know how I put the wrong number: I counted the squares to H8 (it was 5 from original location) and must have put wrong one. :( First that one with moving too deep into the room and then this.

Now, I'm fairly sure the move to I5 is illegal and you need to stop me in H8 since move + attack spend two available actions for movement. I'll take OA as special one off power if you think it appropriate as punishment for carelessness and you put me back, or that same one off power moved him to I5.

My excuse is that I'm fairly swamped at work and hurry posts over. I even post sometimes in several bursts, editing and saving.

It should get better in the next week or so (end of tourist season, last batch of full buses)

EDIT: add this minor action, regardless of Orsik's final location - he's looking for a passage where necromancer dissapeared Perception (1d20+4+1=21)

Maybe I missed the description somewhere, but what are these two squares at H7 and H9? Are they statues?

If so, can a PC move into those squares like difficult terrain, or are they impassable?

Everyone else, you might want to hold off on posting your actions until we find out what these things are and what our movement options are.

[sblock=OOC]Regarding KD's terrain question, those aren't statues but rather torch holders:

The squares with torch holders in them (like H7 and H9) don't obstruct movement - the torch holders don't fill the whole square and can just be skirted around.
So in other words they're just map fluff, and have no terrain effect.


Regarding Orsik's move: it was legal, since he can cut through the square with the torch holder - he only had to move 4 squares, and attack. Sorry about the possibly rather harsh interpretation of your intentions, but I really thought you were aiming for that square.

Also, for everyone, I just noticed that I accidentally cut off the grid references on the left of the map. Doh. I'll post a revised version ASAP.[/sblock]

Antithetist, isn't Zom supposed to be at the end of the init list, not in the middle of the party's init? Assuming that's the case since Zom already attacked Grys:

Standard: Sword Burst vs. Zom
Minor: Aegis of Shielding on Zom

Sword Burst vs. Zom, 17 (with flank) to hit, 8 damage

If Sword Burst hits (which I doubt), Zom takes 5 damage if it attacks Grys. Grys also does another D6 damage on it if he hits (I didn't bother to roll it since I doubt he'll be hitting).

Aegis of Shielding, -2 for Zom to hit and immediate interrupt for Zom to do 6 less damage if it does hit anyone other than Grys.

Its initiative count now falls with all the other enemies, at the bottom.[/sblock]
