Scarmiglione runs over to one of the crystals. Just as he reaches it, his beak opens and there is a loud clap of thunder. The kenku leaps atop the platform on the right, producing another thunderclap and slashing at the creature that used to be Cale.

Minor: Low slash on Cale. Vs Reflex, CA for prone: 1d20+12+2(CA)=16 1d4+6+2d6=15. If that's a miss, I'll use the lucky charm to assist: 1d6=6. Total attack roll of 22 vs Reflex, 15 damage.

Cale's save vs. being slid off the edge: 1d20=20 no slide, but Cale is slowed until EONT.

AP: Wave of Light on Cale and statue. Vs Reflex: 1d20+10+2(CA)=29 1d20+10=27 2d6+12=16 two hits, 16 radiant apiece before mods. -2 to AC until EONT.

Not sure whether the statue counts as a "conscious enemy" for purposes of phase of the moon or not.

GM: Hm, I posted a reply to this last night, guess it didn't go through.

As mentioned before, I forget about dwarviness all the time. So, correct, Fredrock just takes 6 extra damage.

Kaz did use Avenger's Resolve. When Kaz hits the crystal it triggers Dark Resonance(free, when damaged by an attack): All creatures within 5 of the crystal take 5 necrotic damage. Kaz also does 1d4=4 extra radiant damage against it. Unfortunately, it has DR5.

Dark Resonance triggers when Scarm hits the other one as well.

The statue counts as a conscious enemy, yes, since the essence of a god is trapped inside...

Just waiting for [MENTION=79440]H.M.Gimlord[/MENTION] to post for Eithal. I know this posting pace is hard for you H.M., so just post when you can, even every-other day keeps us moving at a faster clip than 95% of the adventures out there.

The Dark Temple, Round 2

Dark energy surges out of the Crystals as the Kaz and Scarm hit them, but most of it is absorbed by the protective enchantment Toeto cast on the group.

Meanwhile, Cale lashes out at Scarm, injuring the kenku then turning to swipe his blade across Eithal's shoulder as she climbs the cliff.

Back in the center of the room, the Avatar breaks apart into a flaming cloud of ravens and reforms near one of the tombs, blasting Kaz, then sparking an explosion near Fredrock, then another near Kaz. The Avenger is barely standing after the attack, but he is still standing.

Meanwhile, Cale stands up and swings at Eithal, the Warden just barely deflecting the blade.

Livia hits Scarm with an arrow, possessing the kenku for a second. The kenku tries to stab Eithal in the back, but manages to regain control of himself at the last second, diverting his attack.

GM: Teleportation is not the same thing as movement, so it doesn't trigger Fredrock's stance.

Any creature falling in takes 1d10 falling damage, 1d10 damage from the spikes and 1d10 damage from the fire. Starting your turn in the fire pit inflicts an extra 1d10 damage(2d10 total). Climbing out takes a DC 12 Athletics(climb) check.

Cliffs to the Statues: The cliffs are 10' tall and require DC 15 Athletics checks to climb.

Lighting: Thanks to Yishim's sunrod, the whole place is brightly lit.

Altar: The altar in the back takes an Athletics check DC10 and 2 squares of movement to climb on top of.[/sblock]

OOC: Fredrock spends a surge to gain 35 hp.

Toeto sprints into the middle of the room, pushing herself to get closer to Fredrock and Kaz before it is too late. Sprout simultaneously disengages from raven-Livia and repositions himself between Kaz and the unholy avatar. Once the shaman is close enough, she raises her totem and points it straight at Fredrock. He is immediately infused with a wave of regeneration, mending some of his burns. The spiritual power also radiates from Sprout, and Kaz feels himself healing as well.

It isn't enough, Toeto quickly realizes. Any more of those detonations, and her allies will begin falling around her. She holds aloft the larger radiant orb and calls for aid. "Radiant lady!" says Toeto, having to settle for a nickname. "Please, help us through this! I... I c-can't heal everyone..."

The greater orb sears the enemy. Cale goes down, but before he even hits the ground, dark energy blasts from the statue and brings him back to life...

GM: That will drop Cale. He "dies" and immediately Rerises at 1 hp. He is prone, but not dazed.

Livia is bloodied.
