JustinCase, if you want to be the danger-scout, I will not step on your rogue-y toes.
But if you didn't like the outcome here and would rather hang back in the future, Surana has the same perception bonus, but more hp and a higher AC. She will happily go first and find danger the barbarian way: kicking the door in.
@JustinCase Erevan can very clearly see the gray ooze and knows that it attacked him. You can attack it. When I said you "haven't noticed it yet", I meant you have not noticed the thing that is making the drow "float". You can disengage, move and attack the ooze if you like....or if you've decided Erevan feels threatened enough by the "floating drow" you can stick with that.
Edit: If you switch targets, just keep your rolls (you do get SA damage on the ooze though, so roll that)
In the mean time, after Erevan goes, new round (@JustinCase, you can tell me if you'd rather your attack have gone against the gray ooze). DMAesh and SunGold, you can each go
Orsik will sacred flame the ooze again. "What are you talking about stop?!?! That thing's going to EAT YOU! Talking to things that eat you is a good way to...well!...get eaten!"
Dex Save [roll0]
damage [roll1]
Ezraen and Erevan both hear "Hey! Ow!". The 'drow' backs up again this time out of sight.
Since we have a map now, I guess I should add: Surana will specifically move to the spot between the ooze and the drow's hallway, so that if anything comes through there it'll have to pass her.
