Spell problems. Spellcasting looks fine, but Character Sheet III is all #N/A and Character Summary, Spells has #N/A for names, but the rest of the info is there.

Which version are you using? There was an issues with earlier versions with the #N/A error on the spellcasting sheet

I just created a quick-and-dirty half-elf 5 warlock 1 sorcerer, and I saw no problems on the Spellcasting or CSIII sheets.

Did you upgrade (using cut and paste) this character from an old beta (that wouldn't import properly)? Are you using any custom data (with the custom page) with this character? Did you add any custom graphics and/or pictures?

Using cut and paste can cause problems when using the default Excel settings and cause logic problems with the underlying formulae. Custom data might still be buggy and cause the problems you are seeing, too. And pasting in custom pictures has been a known source of headaches as well. I list these things because I have had issues with them in the past.

I built a new 2.24 version based on a 2.00 file.

Most data was typed in. To pull in the gear, I used a formula on the new workbook that pointed it to the old file, copied the formula down twenty rows, used F2, F9, Enter in each cell to get the values. I turned off calculation before starting this process and turned it on afterwards.

I didn't use copy/paste anywhere else, except for a few times on the Adventurers Log.

I didn't try importing the data because of the differences on the log worksheet. I will email the file from home in an hour.

Bug: Start: Background "Spy" is missing.

Bug: Start: When entering a pet and then overriding the name, the features become N/A and must copy that information over to the override.
In this case I have a character using the Urchin background. An urchin gets a pet mouse, so I wanted to enter it as a pet. Since there is not an entry for a mouse, I used the Rat as a template and then overwrote the name with "Mouse". Apparently the program wants the override to be a creature in it's database, as well as the base creature that was selected, which seems a bit silly to me! When the entry in the override is not in the database, the actions of the base creature goes to #N/A.

Nice one, fixed the last two bugs in the next version. The spy background has yet to be added, if you have it written out send me the details and I can copy and paste from your character file.

The spy is a variant of the Criminal background. Same personalities/ideals/bonds/flaws, but the spy is generally sanctioned. (PHB p.130, first column)
