I don’t really play MTG anymore so I have a hard time evaluating cards: is this card good by modern standards? Either way, I think they nailed the flavour of the spell. Cannot be countered is a nice touch for an unerring missile.

It's versatile, but on the expensive side. How good it is will depend on how many 1/1 creatures are relevant in the meta.

Nope! I’m wrong. Looked it up, and “On a stick” apparently means a repeatable version of the effect, often on an artifact (dates back to rod of ruin, which was “Tim on a stick”), so you’re right and I’ve been using the term wrong for like 15 years

to be fair, platinum angel IS an artifact.
edit: if I recall correctly, being on a creature is "on a body".
