Because apparently there is an official table of all the cards in the set listed in alphabetical order with blank slots for the unrevealed cards, and the reveal of the mindflayer card eliminates the last remaining slot where a blue card starting with the letter M could go.I'm a little lost, how do we know that is not the case?

Mind Flayer is Collector Number 64, Mordenkainen's Polymorph is number 65, Pixie Gide is 66. The Collectors numbers are alphabetical, grouped by Colo. No Mordy card.I don't think this card is a Planeswalker?

Name and number crunching has been a thing for as long as MtG spoiler season has been a thing. Back in the day when core sets were 100% reprints, we’d have the whole set figured out way early this way,Leave it to DnD players to min max spoiler season....![]()
