I’m pretty sure chickens don’t eat meat.

Chickens are omnivores. Their natural feeding patterns include lots of insects, and a lot of typical chicken feeds include meat or bone meals for protein, and other nutrients.

There are quite a few good examples of good dialogue and interactions in the Claremont/Byrne X-Men years.
And don't forget...

Legend
"This is the moment." - Dr. Manhattan, Watchmen (2019)

"They could put me in a helicopter and fly me up into the air and line up the bodies head to toe on the ground in delightful geometric patterns like an endless June Taylor dancers routine, And it would never be enough. No, I don't keep count. But you do. And I love you for it." - The Joker, The Dark Knight Returns

Eltab

Lord of the Hidden Layer
Thor comic, probably early-to-mid 1980s.

Odin, Thor, and Loki are facing off against Surtur at the gates of Asgard. Odin gives an inspiring speech and the Asgardians attack in the name of what they value most.

Odin: "For Asgard !"
Thor: "For Midgard* !"
Loki: "For myself !"

Elder Thing
"It has always been the prerogative of fools and small children to point out that the emperor has no clothes. But the emperor remains an emperor, and the fool remains a fool."

- Morpheus, "The Sandman" by Neil Gaiman.

If there a more quotable bit of pretentious malarkey written, I've never read it.

Tonguez

A suffusion of yellow
“If you wear black, then kindly, irritating strangers will touch your arm consolingly and inform you that the world keeps on turning.

They're right. It does.

However much you beg it to stop.

It turns and lets grenadine spill over the horizon, sends hard bars of gold through my window and I wake up and feel happy for three seconds and then I remember.

It turns and tips people out of their beds and into their cars, their offices, an avalanche of tiny men and women tumbling through life...

All trying not to think about what's waiting at the bottom.

Sometimes it turns and sends us reeling into each other's arms. We cling tight, excited and laughing, strangers thrown together on a moving funhouse floor.

Intoxicated by the motion we forget all the risks.

And then the world turns...

And somebody falls off...

And oh God it's such a long way down.

Numb with shock, we can only stand and watch as they fall away from us, gradually getting smaller...

Receding in our memories until they're no longer visible.

We gather in cemeteries, tense and silent as if for listening for the impact; the splash of a pebble dropped into a dark well, trying to measure its depth.

Trying to measure how far we have to fall.

No impact comes; no splash. The moment passes. The world turns and we turn away, getting on with our lives...

Wrapping ourselves in comforting banalities to keep us warm against the cold.

"Time's a great healer."

"At least it was quick."

"The world keeps turning."

Oh Alec—

Alec's dead

Azuresun

Adventurer
Robin (after arriving on the scene, and saving Batman from an attack from behind): "You left yourself open."
Batman: "No I didn't. You were there."

A brag and an understated expression of trust and praise. It's just such an efficient line.

"When you peel back all the darkness from Batman, what you're left with is someone who doesn't want to see anybody die."
--Superman, Kingdom Come

"Who wins when Batman and Superman fight? No-one."
--Batman

And are we counting manga? I'm going to count manga, so I can include this one from Berserk:

"It does matter! Remember the reason you are here! The reason you are fighting now! A human soul could not take this much pain if you didn't care!"
