D&D 5E Well, it looks like I've bought the gift set

Something else I forgot to mention.

The DM's Screen in this is very similar to the one in the Core Bookset release. It has different art on the artside of it, but the art is almost the same on the actual DMs side of it. It is tweaked a little so it's not mountain in the backgroudn though, more like a desert so that detail has changed, and there is no ToH mouth statue on the left corner anymore.

The far right panel has also been tweaked as it has a few more tables. It has tables for Encounter distance, Audible Distance, Visibility Outdooors, and Foraging DCs.

I wonder if you'll end up with a set with the spelling error. I've seen pics of the set with the title Monnsters of the Multiverse on the spine.
Yeah, was just at Barnes and Noble earlier today and the one copy they had of the gift set had that error. Pretty embarrassing, TBH. But as noted upthread, a likely collector's item!

Mine does not appear to have the error.
Mine just arrived today, and I am pleased to report that it does not have the typo on the spine either. Will dig into it after work.
Just to confirm, you both have the regular cover version of the gift set? If so, can you check the credits page and see where your copies were printed? It looks like one of you is in New Zealand and the other in Florida in the USA. I am just curious how widespread the error is and where it might be concentrated. We might not be able to narrow down too much, but I can try. :)

Yes, I have the regular foil cover version. The credits page says printed in China.

Mine also says printed in China. It probably isn't dependant on local stores though, I bought mine online so it was sent to me from Amazon.com

Thanks for the info. We have seen Xanathar's Guide to Everything had part of its run printed in China and part in the US (see the posts culminating in this post: D&D 5E - D&D Books Delayed By The Shipocalypse ). I am wondering now if the copies with the error were printed in the USA?
