D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

The algorithm doesn't understand complex interactions, it basically seems to be composing them as seperate pictures and recombinant them with very specific directions...and directions for violence will be blocked.
Nothing changes that I wish it wasn't that way..... not sure why you felt the need to explain this... Most likely my second sentence which was more a lament

A weird mini-trend I have noticed: I have been doing a lot of "fantasy character does mundane and anachronistic thing" pictures, and when a character is enjoying a delicious glass of Irn Bru, the AI will sometimes add tartan patterns to their clothing, as if the Scottishness of the Bru is spreading to the rest of the picture.

Pattern recognition.

But, yeah, sure is fun to make dynamic fantasy action characters doing mundane things, lol.

For me it's aevre lack of sleep, lol
Is it your first kid?

Mine is now exactly 7 days old, and yeah, it gives you AMPLE opportunity to waste time on AI art in the middle of the night :P

At least her bother ( 6yo) loves to just sit in silence and watch me play BG3 during the evening, so daddy can do his important stuff no matter what!

Tell me about it! This is number 5, and is actually going better sleep and saniry wise than the first four times like we learned stuff or something.

Oh man, I kinda miss those days! My oldest is nearly 18, and the other two are 15 and 11. There’s a bit less sleep deprivation but just as much stress.

What prompt did you use to get the curved swords? I spent ages trying to get it to draw a scimitar for me a while back, but because i was trying to give it to a robed undead creature it always gave me a scythe instead. Too much Grim Reaper in the training sets.
Just “curved scimitar”. I was trying to go for the double-bladed scimitars that the Tairnadal wield but there’s obviously nothing in the training data for it to refer to for that. The funniest one I got was the double scimitar blades on the horse’s harness.
