I was having that problem while trying to make a monstrous alien insect queen creature. If I could convince DALL-E to stop depicting my gloriously inhuman and monstrous deities with boobs I 100% would. I want a queen bee or ant, not a beautiful naked anime girl with insect legs.

I managed to do quite few today, then suddenly every prompt got the "unsafe"-message. Tried doing an Alphonso Mucha-style image. Unsafe. Tried an art noveau-style. Unsafe... Tried a basic (as in this was the entire prompt) "Misty landscape. Tiny faeries dancing" - Unsafe..

Wonder if is dependent on which server handles the request? Because I have to think they have more than one.

Someone apparently got the DALL-E 3 prompt, and it won't do the style of anyone whose last work was created in the last 100 years (maybe to forestall forgeries)?

Patrick Nagel was the one who did the high-contrast 80s pics, for the uninitiated. Duran Duran's Rio album cover was the famous one; he's apparently influenced by Pop Art and Art Deco.

His stuff is iconically 80s, so IMHO it's a fun way to riff on the retro appeal of D&D.
